My daughter didn't put her dinner away and the puppy got it. He acted fine yesterday, just had the gas. Was playing eating and drinking. today he wanders around fine but I can tell he doesn't feel well.

Changing diet fast can cause diarrhea so I would think that the pizza did give him the runs.
Here's a website with dosage by weight of some otc meds that are ok to use. One is for diarrhea.

If he is not drinking, use an eye dropper or syringe and give him water every hour.
If he is not better by tomorrow, take him to a vet. Puppies can dehydrate fast.

If the diarrhea last long he'll dehydrate. That will kill him.
Give him some white cooked rice for his meals to help with the upset tummy. Then slowly add steamed chicken (no skin of bones) to the rice, then slowly add back his puppy food.

give the dog boiled chicken breast and rice for a few days then mix in some low fat cottage cheese to get the dogs stomach back in shape. The dog should be fine in 3-4 days

give him a coulple days, it's most likely just an upset stomach. make sure he has pleanty of water. If in a few days he still sick take him to vet.
try to keep track of how much he is eating and drinking in case the vet askes.

If he has diarrhea then he's not okay. I'd watch him closely, it may just need to get out of his system. Make sure he gets lots to drink or he'll end up dehydrated.

so probobly yah you should be worried... just pray to God to give him a good health.... and here's a trivia for you: a one whole chocolate can kill a dog & a one bite of chocolate can kill a puppy.
so please check your puppy if he eats something ok...
