My husband has a cat that likes to pee wherever she wants. She has clean litter but still pees everywhere. Getting rid of her is not an option (she's a member of our family,) I don't know what to do. THis is driving me nuts, I'm sick of cleaning the carpets!! (Putting her outside's not an option... ) I hate the smell of cat pee!

Some people on here saying cats are dirty and stupid etc etc, the list goes on, things like cats arent as loving or as smart and loyal as dogs, or you can't train cats... All of this is untrue, cats are very intelligent, clean, loyal and loving, and they should not be compared to dogs because both cats and dogs are intelligent in thier own ways... just because they are different doesnt mean one is better than the other. I equally love and respect the intelligence and uniqueness of both cats and dogs and I hate to hear people choose one and demean the other by comparing the pros and cons of each animals habits and characteristics. It is unfair because they are both completely different and yet equally amazing and intelligent in thier own capacity. Read this and you might think twice before saying much of anything is smarter than a cat when they are compared in a purely scientific manner...

I purchased a hand raised cockatiel 5 days ago, she is 8 weeks old. She (i dont acctually know the sex) is very sweet, and still getting used to me and my 6 year old son. This is my first cockatiel, she was raised on a seed diet, after alot of research i have decided to introduce pellets into her diet. Should i change her diet immediatly? Do i need to wait untill she settles in? Does anyone have any advise or hints for me?

Ok one more question, I know every bird is different, but can anyone give me an idea of how long it takes to build a trust, or bond with her. And does anyone have any helpful hints or suggestions so i dont do anything that will cause her to fear me.

What can I use to stop dogs from coming in my yard? My daughter has a sand box and in addition to poo in my yard they also use her sand box. I don't want to harm the dogs I just want the poo to stop.

ok i'm asking for personal opinion here. i live in a college dorm room all by myself - no roommates - and the room is about 15 feet wide x 20 feet long. my dog recently passed away and i have been very depressed about losing him (it happened very suddenly), and i was thinking about getting a cat to live with me in my dorm room and help cheer me up. i sometimes feel like i'm going to go nuts without a pet!

my parents said that they would be willing to help pay for care of the cat, and if i get caught with a cat, the worst i would get is a warning, and my parents said i could send the cat home to live with them if that happened.

the thing i'm worried about is if the cat might need more room (like i said, the room is about 15 feet by 20 feet), and how the cat would be with that. i would keep the cat mentally stimulated with toys and a scratch post while i'm away at classes, plus i have friends over often so the cat would get human contact.

if this were you, would you get a cat?

The one cat is a rescue that has one eye and pisses all over the place and is constantly in heat. The other cat I have is a kitten who never sleeps, gets into everything and tries to escape outside. Which one should I keep?

I basically chew up meat and food and then I regurgitate it into my kittens mouth so she can feed on it. I want to do this the natural way like it is done in the wild.

I do this 4 times a day for my cat.

It seems very unhappy and barely plays and sleeps all day. When its time to feed the kitten knows and runs away from me. Is this normal? Is that how its done in the wild?
Am I the only one that does this?

My 6 month old puppy has been almost wheezing. The lump in her throat comes out and it pulls her stomach muscles. It sounds as if she is gasping for air, what could this be? I am very scared about this I've raised her since 6 weeks. Please help. Thanks.

my opinion:
i object to plastic surgery when it is medically unnecessary. i don't know much about normal & healthy human beings trying to surgically enhance their 'everywhere'... but how much trauma pets go through during the procedures?
you may purchase a dog for few hundreds/ thousand dollars. but that does not mean that you can subject your pet to these unnecessary traumas just because they wag our tails & look up to you? they can't verbalize their disgust with plastic surgey...
pets are simple beings... keep them simple. love them as how they look and behave. please stop abusing them. don't put them through painful procedures just to meet the 'standard requirements' of any kennel clubs, or to make them more 'attractive'.
don't buy pets for the wrong reasons. buy/ adopt a pet because you love animals. don't change how we look. change
