What can I use to stop dogs from coming in my yard? My daughter has a sand box and in addition to poo in my yard they also use her sand box. I don't want to harm the dogs I just want the poo to stop.

Domestic white or black pepper keeps them away nicely. Just lay down a layer round the entrance to your yard.

Oh boy!! sounds like you have some very inconsiderate neighbors!! Remember it is not the dogs fault. The blame falls on the owners. I would suggest fencing. It is very costly. If you can not afford fencing, you can put a safety fence around your daughters sand box. It will keep the dogs out and keep your daughter in. There are two bonuses to that one. The fence will not need to be to tall simply because a dog will not work over time to find a place to poo. Another trick is to put up motion sensors that sound off a loud whistle when the dog enters the yard or a water sprinkler. Just make sure the whistle is at a pitch only the dog can hear. You don't want to freak out the neighbors!! Anyway, good luck to you.

Buy a package of mothballs at the store and place them at the entrance of your yard and around the sandbox. Cats and dogs hate the odor. Make sure your little girl doesn't pick them up or play with the mothballs as they could make her ill.

Places like Wal-Mart and Home Depot have a plant that's called "Dog Gone" it has a smell that they don't like so they stay away there's also one for cats that I would get too cause cats really like to poo in sandboxes

i don't know where you live but if you know the dog owners make them keep them out of your yard or you will file a complaint......if the dog is not fenced.......it has to be leashed where i live and the owners have to clean up the dog poo when there walking them. if it was me i would give them a taste of their own medicine.......i mean the owner ........not the dog!!!!!!!!!!!

a paintball gun. it'll hurt, but not kill.

i know that sounds harsh, but we had the same problem. our full bred rott kept getting knocked up by the neighborhood strays. they would climb the fence to get to her. we lived outside city limits and even the cops told us to shoot them since they had no owners and the dogcatcher only worked in city limits.
