We just adpoted a dog in June, she is 1 1/2yr. She had a littler of pup's in April, the other day she started bleeding, dripping bright red blood, could she be in season again?

i have a pet dog its a miniture pinchser who has a few bumps on his back Help please...?

Do you like squirrels?

I love them. They are so cute and mischievous. I have one (Jessie) that will almost come up to me and eat out of my hand. But I have found a lot of people are enemy of the squirrel. There doesn't seem to be any middle ground. People either love them or hate them. What have these adorable tree-rats ever done to deserve such hatred from some of you? Squirrels have feelings too! Stop running them over! Stop the maddness!

Should I give my dog Prednisone and Benadryl for Hives?

I wanted to ask a question about hives and prednisone. My 5 month old boxer pup came in yesterday with a swollen face and hives. We assumed he had gotten stung by some sort of bug. We had to take him to the emergency vet because he seemed to passout and urninated on himself. The vet gave him a shot of Benadryl and cortisone. His swelling has gone down but we had to make another visit earlier this morning because the hives came back in such big patches. The vet sent us home with prednisone but also a lot of warnings. We have just been treating him with the Benadryl 1mg per pound he is 38 pounds.

He seems to be hot always seeking non carpeted surfaces. He also seems to act like he is losing his mind at times. Do you have any suggestions? Should we go ahead and use the prednisone or is it that dangerous? I really appreciate any help you can offer.

I don't know anyone else to ask and our vet will not open until tomorrow.

What is the strangest thing your cat ever did?

Yesterday I bought placemats for the table and when I got up this morning, the cat had gotten on the table and chewed some ends off of an artificial plant. Then he threw it up in the middle of 1 of the placemats.

How can I safely remove mats from my dog's hair?

I recently gained ownership of an older dog that a friend was unable to take care of anymore. This dog is an older cocker spainel and her fur is covered in mats. How can I safely get rid of these, without having to take the dog to the groomer? I do not want to cause any undue stress on the poor thing and I am looking for your help! Thanks!

i need to move away to a quiet, quaint town like you see in the movies.?

my yorkie seemed ok but had foam coming out of her mouth this morning?

she tends to throw up sometimes in the morning shes healthy she just has a sensitive stomach, I didn't hear or see her throw up this morning and she has never had foam on her like this other than that she seemed fine active happy and now 3 hours later she seems ok should I be concerned (I am) but she really is ok, what could have cuased that?

Why did my 2 year old hamster "eat" his own foot??

To my horror this morning, my hamster was limping and it looks like he ate his own foot.. No bleeding only bone sticking out. Being it is Sunday I cant get to my vet today. He is eating but I feel sooo awful as I don't know why this would happen. Anyone with any related issues please advise. I have already been told it may be a neurological issue.
