Dont listen to the people telling you to put him down. Pitts can be harmless, its how they are raised. Yes i do agree they can get aggressive, so yes you need insurance. But since the pup is so young, you can raise him to be nice. Congrats on your new family member. Your lucky, i want a pitt but they dont allow dogs at my apartment.

Enjoy your pup!!!!

A puppy should not be far off from their mom till they are 8 to 10 weeks old. Any breeder that would enable that may no longer a competent breeder. With that being pronounced, whilst the canine is a few weeks older placed money into domestic dog obedience training and proceed with obedience coaching till the canine is grown. Pit Bulls are not a canine which you incredibly decide for to be lacking in obedience and having administration over.

Pitbulls get such a bad rap. If you train the dog properly, go to classes, remain the alpha leader, the dog will be just fine, like any other dog. They are not born killers, mean and nasty dogs. so many people train them to be mean for whatever reasons, and it gives all the pits a bad name. Just raise the pup the right way, in a loving, caring, enviorment with proper training, and never let yourself be anything than 100% in charge at all times.

Your so lucky! I grew up with the pitbulls my dad bred, but we ended up putting them down because we couldn't keep them and my dad didn't trust anyone who wanted them to not fight them. It was a shame, because Buddy, a white male, was a descendant of the dog from the little rascals

Check with your home owners insurance company. They may have a rider that you can purchase to cover animal caused injuries.

No you need to put the thing down. They are vicious animals that shouldn't be within 100 yards of a child.

you might need to...talk with your local humane socity..in some states that breed is banned and you have to have them fixed and taged before they can be in the city..so check with them on what all you will need.

there are no bad breeds just bad owners, puppies are a product of their enviroment just like kids, you teach your pup to be bad and it will be.
