tell her about how much you want it and that youll take care of it. tell her to think of all of the cute things it will do and all of the fun you will have with it. guilt her into a yes. say please. be nice. look at her with a sad face. not a fake one. but only at the right moment, like if she says no again. tell her you know what a big responsibility it will be and that you are up for the challenge. you will bathe it, walk it, feed it, pet it, teach it tricks, potty train it. make sure she knows how much you are willing to do for it.

Like the above answer prove to her that you are responsbile enough to take care of a puppy. Do extra things for her and become the almost perfect child (keep this up after you get the dog to...it will work to your advantage). Don't say anything about it, except print out pictures of chihuahua puppies and cute pictures of dogs and put them all around your house. This has worked for me twice. lol Who can resist a cute puppy picture? And ask her why not if it still doesn't work. Maybe even do things to raise the money to get the puppy.

show your mom that you are resoponsible enough to take care of a pet. Clean up your room/the house. Don't talk back. Do your school work. Make sure she knows that you are maturing a little bit. More than likely if you show that you are going through all this just to get the dog then she will see how much you really want it and how that you are ready to handle a puppy.

i wish we had more details...does mom say no because of the price? if so I would hope you can tell her the dog has papers and could be shown in a show or could be bred for money.as well as the obvious ...companionship and security..if its the kind of dogthats the problem..maybe you need to let her know the advantages of a smaller dog, that it will be is easy to groom, train...etc... if its because its a dog....could be a problem from the past rearing its head in which case you might suggest another kind of pet...hey don't forget to mention that you will take care of your pet on a regular basis, so she knows that you want to undertake the responsability which is a sign to her if you follow up right that your maturing and ready to accept some responsability. good luck to you , hope it works out one way or another...p.c.

Did you ask your mother why she says NO?
Three hundred dollars is a lot for a dog. Maybe she thinks your money could be better spent-clothes, education, food basically the essentials of your life. Could it be maybe she knows that although it is your dog, she will ultimately end up looking after it. You could have a bad track record looking after animals. There are a thousand reasons she could have for saying NO. Mothers do know best. You never thought of any of the above reasons, did you? Sign me - A mother who has been there.

tell her u wont take ur eye off it and u will take care of it like it's
ur child and u will train it as much as u can and then leave the rest of the training to Petsmart !

don't worry i couldn't get a dog either but i got one just by taking these simple steps!

or u could ask ur dad to talk to ur mom. and while he is talking to her clean the house a little bit and help ur mom do laundry or cook or wat ever.

Buy it and your mom would just have to deal with it that is what I did when I was younger. She didnt like the dog but my dad did.

wow, 300 for a dog? Yeah right, go adopt a dog from a shelter so it won't be incinerated.
