Does anyone know how long after treating a dog with frontline can we safetly bath her without risking the dose of frontline being wasted?

My vet told me to wait 48-72 hours after applying the frontline before bathing her. This gives it plenty of time to be absorbed into the skin.

Within 24 hours of putting the frontline on your dog it begins to work killing the fleas. I would wait at least 24 hours to give it a chance to dry good. This product is waterproof but should be dry before bathing your dog.

The package used to say wait 2 days before or after, but now you can apply it anytime. It is best to bathe the dog, let it dry, then apply the product. The more you wash them, the more product you remove. Always use a soap free shampoo made for dogs to avoid stripping off the oils and more product. Human shampoo is not the right PH for dogs, and can be drying.

Frontline plus is waterproof........but i bathe my dog the day before i flea treat him just in case.if use must bathe it use those moist towelettes from the pet shop........

I think it does say on the packet but if I remember right its about 7 days. I moved to somewhere that dosnt get fleas! YIPPEEE!
