My cat had kittens almost 2 weeks ago. I fixed her a "home" in a box, in my room. After birth, I cleaned everything up put her in new bedding, etc...I change the bedding ever so often and she's been fine keeping them in my room..Now suddenly, she's wanting to carry them off. I followed her because 3 went missing thru the night, and she was putting them under my sofa!! I lifted the sofa and got them, and put them back in their box. Now I catch her trying to do it again! What's up with her?
***I am the only person who pets them, or even looks at them pretty much, and I have had her since she was a baby, so she trusts me!!***

Since I've had my cockatiel, (about 3 years), he has bitten, but only small, non harmful bites. And it wasn't all the time either, just when threatened. Which has brought me to think that really, all birds are going to bite.

Recently, my bird has become excessively agressive. I can't even sit with him on the couch without him walking over 2 feet, with his head ****** forward, just to bite me. I try to pick him up, he bites me. So me and my dad decided to put him in his cage and cover it with a blanket for the rest of the day, and the night. The next morning, we let him out, let him walk around for a few minutes, then tried to communicate with him. He bit my dad again, and drew blood. He's currently covered and in the basement (hes normally upstairs, and out of his cage). I have no idea what to do with the bird to make him go back to his normal self! Hes usually a pretty friendly bird. Well, thanks for the support, I look forward to hearing your advice.

i have a male dog ,aged 11 months , most of what i have read on the net has said its best to wait till a few years old to desex or it can stunt his maturity in a bad way.
registering a dog is compulsory . It costs around $150 to register him undesexed but only $15 if he is desexed, i have explained to the council i plan on getting him desexed in the near future and would like to wait till then to register at a cheaper rate and as he is a house dog, but they have sent me an infringement notice for the amount of $165.00 fine.
Could yahooers please give me some information on this "male desexing" re age and their own experiences with their male dogs and desexing, thanks

I have a bearded dragon he is like a year and a half old. He eats meal worms, crickets, the food from the pet store and romaine lettuce and occassional strawberry, and a few other fruits. We have a friend of my sons staying here with us right now and he says he feeds his bearded dragon butterfly's and locusts. Is that safe? I was always told not to feed them any other bug besides crickets and meal worms. Am I depriving my baby?

Me and my husband have been taking care of a feral cat for a while, feeding him, and providing shelter when it was cold (screened porch). Originally, I didn't want to bring a strange cat home because I was pregnant (risk of toxoplasmosis, etc.). Now my husband really wants to bring the feral cat home because his old cat recently died. We have a two-month old baby. I simply don't think it is a good idea; it may be dangerous for the baby (the cat may be unpredictible), and scary for the cat, which, I think really enjoys his freedom. What is the best solution?

We had a cat called Ben but it had kittens so now we called it Ben Hur. Six lovely little things and I've called them all Spartacus just to see them squabble when I say "This saucer of milk is only for Spartacus".
