Pomeranians are the cutest. Be sure you are prepared to spend a lot of time grooming them, though!

The best choice would be a shih-tzu. I have owned a shih-tzu for 10 years and got him when he was only a few months old. Before i got him, however, I had read and experianced each breed you listed and many more! Here is the up and downsides of each one. Pomeranian - Good choice if you live alone or don't plan to let anyone else care and touch him/her. Unless socialized extremely well, which is tough to do even as a puppy, the pomeranian will get attatched to its owner and will snap at anyone else. Also, they shed little or no hair. Pug - Pugs aren't too snappy if socialized normally like all puppies and dogs. They are very cuddly and will love to sit on your lap. However, they will normally not let you pick them up, and if they do, they are very uncomfortable to hold and can only be held in one way. Also, they shed a lot. Shih-tzu - They aren't snappy, like the pug, if socialized properly. They will love to sit on your lap, cuddle with you, and will be happy in your arms all day. They may be picky eaters, but will choose one certain brand of food to eat eventually if not given any table food. Try different brands, wet vs. dry food, etc. They love to be picked up, and because of their soft, non-bony bodies, they can be held in several ways, including upright like a baby, and will feel like one, too. Some things to considor are that they get fat easily if not properly fed, may snore, and, on the bright side, shed absolutely no hair. All in all, the shih-tzu will be the best choice.

there all cute dogs. my opinion is stay away from the shih-tzu and they are the laziest out of this group.pugs are great i have had one she lived to be 20 years old she was 14 when i got her. pugs do have asthma so on very hot days you do not want to be out side hours at a time. Pomeranian is very cute and very hyper if you don't mind a dog that is hyper always moving around these are good dogs mt sister in law has 1 now and has had them for while they like to play allot and are good companions,

you have got to figure out what u want in a dog and see if these dogs apply. if your frends or family have fur allergies or u do, dont get the pomeranian. if u cant discipline dont get a shih-tzu. i cant give u a reason not to gaat a pug but then again i dont know much about them.

if you dont mind yippy, then the Shih Tzu..if you dont mind shedding and lots of hair , the Pomeranian...but if you dont mind health problems and high vet bills, the pug.. All are cute, but i think the pomeranian is the best choice..:)

You should visit an animal shelter and pick the one with the saddest eyes and the fastest wagging tail. You'll have a loyal friend till the end.

Let the rich & famous carry around the little expensive spoiled dogs in their little jeweled purses. You're better than that :)
