I was having a problem with green slimy alage, I would get rid of it, but then it would grow back so fast. Because it was mainly living on my white coral sand, I took it all out. Is the alage gone now? Or will it just continue to grow again? What should I do from here? My tank is infront of a window, and my light bulb is more than 3 years old...does this create a problem to?

I keep my 48 gallon salt tank next to the window there is no other place to put it. I have one of those pictures of coral and fish taped to the back of it. I was thinking to put the all black background either around the back and sides of my tank, or just behind the picture I already have...will this help to keep out the light? I have drapes but, it makes the house hot if I close them.....any ideas for keeping out extra light?

My Yellow lab is 12yrs old and she smells awful, most of the smell comes from her private area. We tried getting baby wipes and cleaning it everyday but she is getting tender in that area. We visited the vet and they gave us some wipes but they dont work at all. She is just to old to be doing surgery on to correct the problem. Any ideas what I should do?

He will just run like you are playing with him when you try to get him to come in from outside. I really don't want to spend the money for electric fence but if I have no other options I will. He listens really well any other time.

The nipples are not red or black, just normal colour. They are flat to her skin, but have this large flat hard mass behind (about 2" diameter). She is a Chihuahua.

My chinchilla bites my mom and me. We want to stop it so we can hold her. I have tried smacking her, sorta like dog. Is this as effective. What other methods are there? Please don't say "Hey dude, why don't you kill her or give her away" I couldn't bear doing that. So, should I stop holding her? Could it be her cage mate?
