I always do. I bring them in, clean them up, take them to the vet, train them, then find them a good home. I check up on all my animal rescues from time to time.

I also make the new owners sign a contract. I can spot check at anytime. If there is a problem, the animal leaves with me. If the owners decide not to keep the animal, they have to return it to me, not find a home themselves.

Needless to say, I do this a lot.

Absolutely. I'd take it a vet or shelter depending on how bad off it was. Vet if it was really bad, shelter if not. I'll pull a U-turn to save a turtle from the road!

ANYONE WITH A HEART WOULD NOT ALLOW AN ANIMAL TO SUFFER FROM NEGLECT LIKE IT ALREADY IS!! IF YOU DO HAPPEN TO SEE THIS THE LEAST YOU CAN DO IS SEEK MEDICAL HELP FROM A VET. OR YOUR LOCAL HUMANE SOCIETY YOU COULD JUST END UP WITH A FRIEND FOR LIFE...

I would call the animal control b/c it could have a disease that could be passed on to humans. I would defiantly not leave it there though.

Depends on how bad of shape it was in I would either save it or put it out of it's misery

definitely would save the animal. It would be worth it to me even if the animal died, I would know I tried to save it.
