No! This is a polydactyl cat. You can find tons of information on them on the web. They are also called Hemingway cats sometimes, as these were Hemingway's favorite :) Some breeders even breed cats to have 6+ toes. Polydactyl cats tend to be very sweet in demeanor, as well.

Gluing is definitely-known for declaws. sounds like the 2d vet went nuts with the stuff, besides the undeniable fact that. the added glue is the least of your complications, besides the undeniable fact that. i could end fooling round with an similar vet practice. contaminated paws could under no circumstances be reglued! Your cat shoud be on an oral antibiotic alongside with Baytril. you could help him with the help of soaking each paw in warmth sudsy water various situations an afternoon for more effective or less 15 min. at a time then rinse nicely lower than warmth operating water. that can help you draw the an infection out. i'd not keep them bandaged. in case you leave them open your cat can help you keep them clean (as nature meant). Sorry, yet I even ought to say, that's in straightforward words an extra effective reason to no longer have your cats declawed, persons! it is going to likely be a miracle if this negative cat would not boost a litterbox aversion with having sore paws for therefore long!

Nope, but check in between the extra toes. Sometimes there's a claw growing in there that can get really long and grow into their foot if it's not cared for properly.

That is a polydactal cat. Hemingway had them. I had one growing up, but he actually had small pads just beneath his extra toes. He was the coolest cat I've ever had.

There's nothing wrong with your cat. It is an oddity, but there are also 7 toed cats out there. I wouldn't worry at all.
