The Yorkshire Terrier National Rescue Inc. was founded in 1997.
We are dedicated to finding the best possible homes for Yorkshire Terriers in our care, regardless of age, sight, hearing or other handicaps. Everyday we help local pounds and other types of shelters find Yorkies in need of our help in relocating homeless and abandoned pets.
We screen and visit every home with a pre adoptive interview, personal reference checks and in home follow up visits whenever possible after the adoption.
We spay and neuter prior to placing the animal in its new home. Our dogs are Heartwormed checked and current on all vaccines. We also microchip them to their new owners with a reference back to our Yorkshire Terrier National Rescue Inc.
I have never heard of anyone getting a Yorkie for under $200, but there are many rescue agencies out there that deal with dpecific breeds.. i found this one just by typing Yorkie Rescue into Yahoo Search engine.. But there are many more out there I am sure... Rescue Dogs need homes too...And they have puppies as well as older dogs... Good Luck:)
We make every effort to ensure that our little dogs live in the loving environments that they so well deserve to their very last day on this earth. We are a non profit 501 c (3) charitable organization.

Ok, where do I sign up? I am recovering from Breast Cancer, and I am in need for a companion that loves and understands me, and doesn t talk back lol. Please help if there is any place I can adopt a baby yorkie or whatever age for under 200 dollars. I would really appreciate it. It would really help with my emotional issues I have suffered from having Cancer. And if anyone has had or know anyone that has had Cancer, Chemo takes everything away from you, but if you re lucky, it leaves your life, which I am very grateful for. Chemo doesn t only take your hair, but your weight, personality, and life as you knew it before Cancer. Anyway, I apologize, I just want to adopt a Yorkie. I m sorry I went into all those other details. Please contact me if there is a chance for me to buy or adopt. Thank you.

There are 409 Yorkies listed on www.petfinder.com that are looking for new homes. The cost will be the adoption fee for the shelter.

He probably doesn't like Yorkies (nor do I) and knows you won't be able to find a quality animal for that price... it's his nice way of saying "Don't get the kind of stupid ugly useless dog", lol. I'll bet if you wanted a real dog like a German Shepard, he'd raise his price, lol!

You can google "animal rescue yorkshire terrier" sometimes people buy the dog, find out its a maniac and requires more time to train than they have and give it to a middle man to find an appropriate home.
Another adorable dog that isnt such a spaz is a Westie.

#1. Why would you want a Yorkie at any price??
#2. Check on-line - I'm sure there are sites specific to Yorkies and their breeders..........still don't know why you'd want one though!
