Hello,
Im getting a Boxer dog soon. I was just wondering what would be a wiser choice, a male or a female? Ive had male dogs all my life, so it only seemed natural to get a male. But after doing some research and learning that they can be quite a handful if not nuetred so im kind of confused as nuetering isnt an option. (think its cruel)

The breed is supposed to like the water but whenever we take her to where she can swim she won't go in. Tried getting her to fetch a stick but no luck. Another dog showed up and went right in but that didn't help.

When people visit she (a golden retriever - 6 months) jumps all over them. We are trying to break her of this habit. Today we took her down to the Canada Day celebrations to see how she would be in a crowd and she was so perfect. Didn't try to jump on anyone.

Ok I have a Female Minature Long Haired dachshund and she is red and black! I have a six month old chihuahua and she HATES having anyone touch her paws. Her vet told me to buy a small dog nail clipper and even told me exactly how to clip her nails. The first time, it was so easy...she didnt even move. Now she jerks and crys, and seems to go crazy when I try. Her nails were getting so long that I took her to the vet so he could clip them...but big mistake, she was so terrified that she fell off the table. Her nails are getting really long, and I'm in desperate need of finding a way to get her to let me clip her nails. (she just left a huge scratch right across my face the other day)

They aren't siblings but only 6 months apart in age; got when each was a kitten. Star is 18 pounds, lazy, super friendly, talks to me, likes the dog, doesn't go outside in winter and likes to be brushed. Mandy is 9 pounds, goes outside most of the time, goes for walks with the dog and I but hates the dog, scratches strangers and hates to be brushed.

My cat has a large lump on her stomach. It is oval shaped and raised. I don't feel it could be a tumor. She had kittens a few months ago, and I know it wasn't there before. She is eating, drinking, urinating and defecating as normal. What could it be from? I'm making her a hospital appointment on Monday but I wanted to know if it's something I should be distraught over. I'm just worried. Any help?

*My dog's nail looks dark-colored as though there's bleeding inside the nail...
* her toe is swollen
*is limping/ not using that particular leg at all....
*front left paw
*been pretty lethargic all day
*no appetite

bought boxer 16mo's ago $700

health problems incl. but not limited to bladder, eye, foot yeast, ear infections, puppy strangles disease, massive allergic reactions, thyroid problems and now a tumor.

the vet couldn't get a sample from the mass. he removed it. the results came back great as benign hysticytoma. 2 days later he went from being his happy self to lethargic & whimpering. his sutures began pussing and opening. his abdomen developed huge pockets of fluid. breathing is like hyperventilating.

i've been to the vet's 4x in 24hrs. 2x to reg 2x to ER. he's there until monday. REALLY sick. the exact same symptoms, much more advanced and bruised. very sad. the wound is massive and gaping.

we are not vets! he needed their care. we have spent $2400 in one week on willis.

i am upset with the breeder for giving me such a sick dog and not refunding. with the vet for not being agressive with treatment. what else could we do??

do i have any rights?

he's 1.5yrs old! i'm v poor & sad.

ever since the neighbors got a pet dog whenever i step outside my dog greets me quicky then leaves running to the side of the fence where both of them start running up and down the wood fence. my dog starts barking and whimpering and pays no attention to me! i tired of this i can't get her spend time with her becuz of this. any ideas to make it stop.

I can't take the covers off all the cushions, and I have a Bissell spot bot, so I can use that to clean it with too, but I need to know what product REALLY KILLS the smell. I was going to pay to have it professionally cleaned but the place said they couldn't get deep down into the couch so it would still smell. My cushions have foam in one part and the top is "pillow-like". I need to get the smell out of the foam part, which is a pain to get out of the cushion covers. I have material to replace the filling on the top pillow part, but what will get it out of the foam. Please help me! I don't want to get rid of my $2400 couch!!!!
