I moved my betta from my dresser to the desk infront of my window (its kinda an overcast day) but i dunt wanna keep him there that long because it might get too hot. so how often can you move a betta around?

I want a puppy,but i dont want to pay anything for it.where can i adopt a puppy?I know you can get a free kitten from a pet store if you buy cat food worth of 10$.I dont like cats.

My friend is giving me her 6 month old Lahso Apso and I have one who is 10 y/o. I am scared it will upset the 10 y/o. I do not want to make him uncomfortable and I was told he may die earlier. Please give me your feed back, I have to make a decision soon.

I want to get a goldfish to put in the tank with my betta, echo. but i dont know if the tank is too small, and i think it might be.

is it to small for just the betta? he seems happy in there, and its a heck of alot better than what the store keeps them in!

I've had chickens for many years and often observe this behavior, but I've never found a scientific answer for why the hen does it. (I know the folklore about how she is so very proud of her accomplishment!) Sometimes the whole flock joins in to cackle along with her, even the roosters. It certainly lets me know I've got another egg for breakfast -- but what purpose would this serve in the wild? Wouldn't announcing the production of an egg attract predators to the nesting area? Or does the racket scare them away? Anybody know?

I recently took in a stray that was hanging around my house... she was obviously previously a house-cat as she tried to come inside everytime I opened the door, uses a litter box, and is quite friendly and cuddly for a "stray." I thought she was pregnant because her nipples were quite swollen but they disappeared over the few weeks before I actually took her inside. Once I brought her in I bathed her, and I noticed some little black dots around her nipples... her nipples are quite protruded, but she is not producing milk/nor are her milk glands swollen. The nipples look quite dry and the black dots are on every nipple, but more so on the lower ones towards her hind legs.
I have another cat who is up-to-date with her shots and I just found the same black dots on her nipples, so now I'm quite worried. Is this just "feline acne" that I have read about, or the way cats' nipples are, or something else? What can I do to treat it?

I took in two abandoned kittens. They are a month old and I am trying to get them to use a litter box. Sometimes one of them does but most of the time both of them go right outside of the box. How can I teach them the right place to use?
