If they sense danger, they tend to walk backwards, so they can keep their eye on the "enemy."

Yes they can. I've had sheep for 10 years and I have seen them do it. They don't like to do did, but if they are scared or forced into a corner when you are trying to catch they will. I also showed my sheep and had to make them walk backwards at times.

If you rewind slow motion the DVD you are watching then yes, a sheep can walk backwards.

yes they absolutely can walk backwards if it's in their interest to do so. Avoiding being caught, for food, watching a threat to their lambs, etc. They will do so for sort distances - it's not uncommon at all.

Yeah but like many animals they really really hate doing it..
one of the hardest things in one of the dog compotions is heel 3 steps backwards....

They tend to push backward when standing on a cliff edge.This is the best place to shag them because of this factor.

Yep, but they generally don't unless you're pushing them, which is sometimes required during a show when you're trying to set them up.
