I am unsure whether he is lonely, frustrated, or just going a bit mental, he is fine the rest of the time, its just when he is in the yard, he tries to dig holes everywhere or he looks at nothing in particular and growls!!! And he is getting very protective when i go into the yard, he wont walk away from me he always stands near me, what is going on, anyone EVER seen anything like this??

I found this big as a frying pan common green/yellow water turtle in a part of town that's not only full of traffic but away from any source of water. He was very dry and libel to get run over... I almost ran him over myself. I took the turtle to the nearest pond and chucked him in. My question is, how did he get in this apartment complex? Could he have walked that far and away from water? Why? My best guess is that some stupid kid or person tried to take him as a pet and changed their mind without being responsible enough to take him back where they found him.
