Also, how can i improve him bolting and on the rail during a show? He can't keep still. He's the only misbehaving horse in the class. . . i can't keep up with my points! we do well in trail, however, it's just rail classes. level intermediate (advanced rider, silly horse holding me back!) he's in training, though he's 14! how can i stay relaxed during all this, too?

I have a 6 month old Pit Bull and we think she has a cyst on her front leg near her elbow. It's squishy, not hard. It hasn't interfered with her personality. When I touch or squeeze on it, she acts like it's no bother. Awaiting her vet visit, just curios of how a dog gets this. I haven't found anything online that tells me about it. Maybe someone could help me??

I have a 3 yr old female pittbull. She has always slept in the bed with me since I got her, she was just 10 weeks old. Then a year and a half ago my bf and i started living together, and she still continued in the bed. We now have a daughter whos a month old, and she sleeps in the bed as well. Now with the 4 of us its just way too much, and we don't want to move the baby out cause it makes nursing so much easier throughout the night hours. Not only is there not enough room, i also want her out for sanitation reason. I dont want the baby near her hair and dander. does anyone have any suggestions?

When my sister's boyfriend comes up to visit for the weekend, the cat hisses at him, but when I come up to pet the cat she doesn't hiss at all; why is that?

The two cats eat adult food, both soft and crunchy, but we have noticed the kitten has really bad gas, could it be the food? We fed the older one the same food when she was a kitten, and she's never had a gas problem. The little guy has the worst farts!

my new roomate is from china. She has a chiuahuah......that she abuses regularly. She hits it whenever she comes home and the dog pees in the apt. The dog is not allowed outside because she "does not like going on walks".

My roomate is leaving in sept and I want the dog so it doesnt have to put up with her anymore.....

the dog is so sweet and obviously scared of my roomate. How do i get the dog away from her and into my loving arms. I clean up everytime i see she made a mess and take the dog out when i can.....but its not working. The dog loves me and hides in my room....help

I was thinking on adopting one.

The best thing I ever did: I had a dog (#1) then I adopted my current dog(#2)..what I did was let 1 in the backyard and distracted him by knocking on the back door...then I secretly let 2 out the other door in the backyard...then I just watched from a window! they were great together! 2 is prone to agression, but with 1 he was fine. Do you think this will work with my roommates dog? Her dog is agressive...but only in a sense that her "bark is worse than the bite"...my dog just bites...no barking.

The weird thing is he does FINE at the vet! Would this be a good idea or should I do the whole "meet at a park in neutral ground"?

We have a 1-1/2 y/o Newfoundland. She is a wonderful dog but if she gets out w/o a leach on, she's gone. To her it is this huge game to run from us. This goes on for about 45 minutes then she decides that she's done and will come to us. Last week she got out in the dark, she's black, so I couldn't find her. She came home after an hour. I'm worried that she will get hit, someone will take her, etc. In the house and the backyard she comes, listens to her name but not when she gets free.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to keep her from running? I think she has a pretty good life here so I don't think she's going to look for another home LOL

My dog (mixed poodle and cocker spaniel) got shaved a few days ago and I only noticed these dark spots on her skin today. They are a dark brown pigment and appear only on her back. Liver spots? she is about 5. I will be taking her to vet but thought maybe someone would have some insight. They are not round but rather irregular shaped.
