No But I know how

1. Have a male Betta in a fish bowl thats heated to exactly 80 degrees farenheit with some sort of floating plant in the water.
2. Make sure he has a bright light above him for 12 hours
3. When he builds a bubble nest put the female Betta in
4. After the eggs are laid and fertilized remove the female
5. Afeter the eggs hatch remove the male
6. Feed the babies finely ground up Betta food.

And ther you Go

Good Luck

I am a Betta lover. I actually have two males, in separate tanks of course. I have never owned a female Betta, I like the colors of the males and their long fins. However the last one I bought was a white male (rare around here), and my cousin gave me their male because they didn't know how to care for it.
No, I have never breed Betta's. I hear it is a pain in the @ss.
My sister did however try to breed them. They were okay at first then she went to check on them and the female was eating the fins off the male. He died. She hasn't tried since. I suggest not to do it. They are Chinese Fighting Fish, so unless you are wanting to end up with dead fish, I would leave it to the experts!
Good Luck.

I've NEVER BRED bettas before but I've had them as pets. My recent one was a green male named Ted. I got him in 2001 he passed away in March 2003 of an ick parisite infection. He was nice fish and surprisingly he was pretty friendly. When ever I tapped on his glass bowl he'd come right to me! but bettas are nice fish and they're low maintance, if you plan to breed some I'd ask someone at petstore or get a book on bettas before you try anything. Cause if you possibly mess up then you might feel sad about losing your fish.

Nope I did some research and discovered 3 things.

1)It's a pain in the *** to do it right.
2)You can end up with nearly a hundred babies.
3)If you don't do it right they'll kill each other. (Even when you do it right they may die.)

Personally I wouldn't do it unless you got a plan to deal with the babies. You can read the details on breeding bettas on bettatalk.

vet2bjc(hope I got that right) "Joe" is correct EXCEPT!!!!!!!!!!
Put 2-mind you-2! females in with him or he will kill her. With 2 he chooses one and they're both safe.
And I have read on Betta sites that you have to find homes for the eggs "fry" before they hatch or morph or whatever they do.
There are Betta clubs equal to AKC for dogs.
Well, enuff with the useless information.
Listen to Joe, but just give your Betta 2 wives.
Interesting reading at these sites:
