my cat is alittle over a year old, he has had loose stools over the past couple of days.This morning I noticed bright red blood in his diarreah, well he just used the bathroom again and there is more blood in it. What causes there stools to be bloody? and please dont just say anumber of things could cause it to be bloody, give me some examples. thank you

tAKE YOU RKITTY TO THE VET OR IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD THAT CHANGE HIS OR HER DIET. AND DO NOT ALLOW THE KITTY TO GO OUT SIDE . THE CATSY COULD BE EATING SOMTHING THAT IS NOT GOOD FOR THEM AND THIRD KEEP CHECKING THE STOOL, iT COULD BE BACTERIAL, COULD EVENBE BE A BAD CASE OF WORMYS YUM.

You should take your cat to the vet. I'm not sure how giving you specific examples of what it might be is going to help your cat. BTW, that's a good name for a band:

First you need to take your cat to the vet. Unfortunately there are several things this could be. It is possible that this is a parasitic infection that could be taken care of with medication.

yeah.. just call the vet.. i kno if my cat was was bleeding out the *** then id bring it to the vet not ask questions on here

It could be too much ash in his hard food. Try changing brands.
