yes.. use a warm washcloth and try to hold it on kitty's eye for a min.. then wipe with a clean part of the washcloth.. then go to the vet.. just sounds like an infection. but BE CAREFUL.. kitty could have some debris or something that has caused the irritation still in there. Oh.. BTW.. Kitty will not like being held down with a wet cloth on.. so use a towel to wrap him up in.

When my cats were kittens they had a similar problem. Their eyes would drain a pus like substance that was yellowish-green and would crust around their eyes. I took them to the vet and was told that it was a form of chlamydia. The vet prescribed some type of cream to apply to their eyes. The meds cleared it up and they've never had a problem w/ it again.

I have a cat, I know exactly what you're talking about, mine had the same thing, it was just a respiratory disease, meaning just a common cold, just take it to the vet and they'll give you some anti- biotics to clear it up, your cat will be back to normal in no time.
(I'll be a future veternarian, I love animals!)

Bring him to the vet! It could be serious, so try to hurry. The vet will probably give him a medication, so good luck and hurry!
