she wants a rat, but I told her that was out of the question. I want an animal that's easy to take care of and good for my daughter. I would get her a dog, but my husband's alergic. any sugestions?

I closed my pet salon to relocate out of state. About 8 months ago, I reopened my grooming business within a local animal hospital. I've never worked at a vet facility before....this is a first. In the hall in between my grooming area and the kenneling area, lies a floor freezer. In all this time, I never bothered to look inside....as I commonly assumed it held frozen pet foods. I opened it the other day to look for some treats to give to one of my clients dogs. What a shock! It was full of dead animals...apparently waiting for cremation. I wish they would move the freezer to another part of the clinic. It's freaking me out and it's probably going to interfere with my trane of thought while I'm working. It's too close for comfort. Keep in mind....I'm not a vet, vet tech or vet assistant. I'm a pet stylist. I'm not used to this sort of thing. A freezer full of dead animals....all shapes and sizes. It's creepy. Would you be able to work easily knowing that thing was right next to you?

The Pitt Bull in the shelter awaiting his fait what do u think he is sweet and loving and people want to adopt him and they wont let them because they think he will be a danger to the community but he is nice.

I think it is wrong to put such a nice loving dog to sleep the long sleep.

What do u think?

People should be able to walk down the street or sidewalk and not have to hear or look at anybody's barking dog, or cats jumping over fences. If the pet owner's were as responsible as they say they are then their pets would be tied up or behind lock and key.

He doesn't eat unless I watch him....I just fed him a few minutes ago and when I left, he was at the back door, begging for food, and he barely ate any kibble!

I have a stray dog running about in my neighborhood. It's a clean long haired mini pom or could be a long haired chihuahua. It's absolutely frightened and we have been trying to get it in our yard to hang onto until Monday, when the shelter opens again. Any suggestions on how to get the dog to get closer? She's in danger of running into a couple of major streets.

She is 12 years old and one of her hind legs shakes when she is standing and not moving. Even when holding it in place it still shakes. What is wrong and what should I do about it? I love this dog to much for her to be in pain or something like that....
