I don't have a dog, because they are dirty, smelly, like to destroy things and bark too much. Plus, they cost too much to take care of, especially when they get sick.

A Bernese Mountain Dog, and a Golden Lab mixed with a Golden Retriever. The Bernese is the most beautiful dog in the world and has the nicest temperament, the labX is also a very nice dog, she's very playful, three years old and still acts like a puppy!

Hello, I have a nine month old shih-tzu, named Cocopuff. She was born in a litter of just her and her brother. While her dog mom was cleaning her up, after her birth, the mother, accidently chewed off the end of her back left leg, just below the knee. We got her at 8 weeks old, and she has ben the most wonderful puppy, on this earth ! She's smart, really smart. She's a beautiful, golden color, with brown tips. She is my pride and joy, and you would never know that she only has three legs, she can keep up with her dog mom, and a few of her "cousins". The reason why I have this breed of dog, is , My sister-in-law has her mother dog, and when they were born, I couldn't resist not getting her. She is very much loved.

I have
a miniture dachshund we got about 8 years ago. dachshunds are good with kids and excellent family dogs. They are small and sweet and require medium to a small amount of exersize. good personalities and fun dogs
I also have a labrador retriever we found on the side of the road. she was 6 months old at the time and the sweetest dog we have ever had. she is about 78 pounds though so she is larger than what we had originally wanted in a dog but she didnt have a home and needed a family to love her so we adopted her. she sleeps with me in my bed every night and loves to snuggle up to me. she is like such a momma's baby.

I have two Weimaraners and a Doberman
I have the Weims becasue they are great upland game bird dogs and great field trial hunters. I wanted to expand my training skills by learning to train a field pointer and retriver.
The Doberman I have had the breed for 17 years I love them and they are a great companion dog in the right home.

I have a dog I rescued. I ALWAYS have animals I rescue and I dont think I will ever get what I truly want - a golden retriever - only cuz I keep taking in these unwanted animals ( I have 1 huge dog - mixed breed, and 6 cats! ) oh, and I was always a dog person to begin with, lol! All animals are fine with me, I love them all....................Don't you?

We have 2 yr old a black lab mix named Jesse James. He is mixed with lab, husky and collie but he looks like a full blooded lab. He is the biggest baby and wants tummy rubs from everybody. We wanted a lab or lab/mix because of the gentle and playful nature. Good dogs for families w/ kids.

A vegetarian Dalmatian.
Because he has 17 allergies and the former owner wanted to put him to sleep at the tender age of 4 months old, and I didn´t want to do it so I kept him. He was also suffering of mal nutrition, pododermatitis, 5 different endoparasites and fleas.
He´s just fine now, very loveable and healthy.

I have a Labrador mix that we adopted from a rescue group. Why? because she was too cute to leave behind. Funny story tho-the rescue people said she was part chihuahua and would never be more than 10 pounds. Ha Ha, she weighs 50!
