Puppies do play alot and sleep a whole lot. My pit bulls did the same. In fact, they still sleep alot. They are very active and sleep after playing. If you puppy does play, eat, drink and go potty then i'd be worried. Otherwise, he's just getting his rest so he can grow.

what do you mean by all the time if you literately mean all of the time then no it is not normal and you should have it checked by a veterinarian. He is six months old and he should want to be playing as much as he sleeps. Growing animals need good nutrition as they grow. You may want to check the dogs diet and perhaps if you call a veterinarian by looking in the local phonebook , you can ask them what type of dog food is a good source of nutrition for your type of dog. I am sure they would be glad to help.

Pups will sleep a lot if there's nothing going on, but sleeping all the time isn't normal. Definitely time for a check up.
