I hate to hear about and see the genocide that is happening in Darfur when I know so many military personnel are in Iraq. I've never had issues with the Iraq war but I now think we need to get out of there and be where we are really needed. The Holocaust led by Hitler was stopped. Why aren't we stopping this too?

I was absolutely amazed about how many of the highest earning companies avoid Corporate Tax through loopholes in the tax system. I dont remember the exact figures but over 200 of our richest companies dont pay corporate tax.... Wheres the justice in that?? Smaller businesses can't utilize the same loopholes in the system because they can't route money into pension funds etc.. The BBC tonight showed how a company who made a profit off £100m could route the money to avoid corporation tax.

Thats not at all the larger companies say they make up for this through employment, and what the government makes through income tax, but isnt that the working class hard earned tax money, and shouldnt be a valid reason....

Can anyone find an article about it? I can't seem to find one

feel guilty for asking a maddy q as i have been angered and saddened by the insensitive comments directed at such a seemingly close family,u may ask y im being so 'for them' but my gut instinct is that yes they acted non parent like that night but why would they have harmed her if they spent a fortune on ivf and why her and not one of the twins-no one on here has yet given a viable reason for these vindictive theories

I just read in the news that 10 iranians were arrested in their motel by U.S. soldiers. Whats going between the 2 countries? I know they seem to have a nuclear program but can the U.S. really confirm that they are using it for something else besides energy?

Serioulsy... so what if she mis-understood the question? Or even if she is as dumb as her answer sounded. She was in a competition which puts an emphasis on beauty not brain, no mater if the prize includes a scholarship (which was for an ACTING SCHOOL not harvard law!) Give this girl a break, or is the USA trying to force her into suicide?

tell me what you think....

"I personally believe that U.S. Americans are unable to do so because, uh, some people out there in our nation don't have maps and uh, I believe that our, ah, education like such as in South Africa, and, uh, the Iraq, everywhere like such as, and I believe that they should, uh, our education over here in the U.S. should help the U.S., or should help South Africa, it should help the Iraq and the Asian countries so we will be able to build up our future, for our children."

I cant get enough. I am a crackhead, but for this video. Who is with me?

Please comment with seriousness only! Stay away from animal meat products to help stop animal violence and murders! Do you think the law should step up and do justice for those animals plus, stop these advertisements of cruelty like example: your market victim food supply?

He seems to care more about trying to stay the course in Iraq than taking care of his own people at home. It's embarassing that 2 years after Katrina that many of the people there are still living in harsh conditions. Bush has failed them.

I heard a lot of people say yesterday that his life should not be destroyed over this incident. His life is not being destroyed. He needs to pay his dues then go on with his life. If he is not allowed to play football again then he goes out and gets a job like everyone else. Just because he may not be able to live the lifestyle he could have if he hadn't screwed up doesn'tmean his life is destroyed. He did this to himself , nobody screwed him.We all have to live with the consequences of our actions and he is no different. There are a lot of people working regular jobs and they have great lives.

Sorry to be cynical...or am I?

I don't believe that Michael Vick has really changed. You can't teach someone to care. Besides, those kinds of changes, even in the rare cases when they occur, usually take a long time to form.

I don't know exactly what happened, but I heard on the news that Vick has apologized and declared that he has been 'saved'. Is it possible that it could be true?

I think he was insincere- but that's just my opinion. He probably does regret this whole ordeal, but only because he is in hot water. He doesn't really feel any remorse for killing the dogs. He just feels bad about getting caught.

What do you think?

And lets say for arguments sake that they are not doing anything wrong or abusing anyone . . .

Would you talk to them?
Has anyone ever done this?

I know its likely cos of my job but I do - I ask them what they are doing, why they are not doing anything constructive etc . . .

Some of them are really insightful about the problems young people face and could tell the governement a lot!

Anyone else?
