Oh Yes! Fantastic role models for drug abuse, alcohol abuse and Moss's own thing - Rexy - supposed to be a combination of anorexia and sexy. What a bloody message to send to kids.

No, not in the slightest. Unfortunately it seems that over the past few years the type of people that the Media hold up as "celebrities" or "heroes" have been generally a load of brain-dead, talentless nobodies. Kate and Amy are different, I suppose, because at least they DO have some kind of genuine talent, but I am sick to death of haggard trolls popping in and out of rehab as if it were some kind of holiday camp. What about your Paris, Nicole Richie and Lohan types? Drunk Driving??? Wow, that's so cool, isn't it?
I am very strict on how much "popular culture" my kids (9 and 6 yrs) are allowed to see. Maybe they aren't as fashionable as other kids of their age, but at least they aren't worshipping talentless reality TV types. These women should be ashamed of themselves and the impression they give that being off your head all the time is a good thing.
Edit: Is it a sign that I'm getting older, that I would prefer these celebrities acted a little more like "ladies"?

They are, women today need to keep thin, so snorting a little coke and destroying your nasal cavities is a good thing, these women also need to sleep and be creative at the same time, so that is where heroin plays a significant part. It also keeps the Afghanistan people in money and supports the Taliban in that region. Yes these women are great examples for my daughters, who I am trying to get them to act as slutty as possible so I can be a granddad when they give birth at 15.
Teachers are boring, looking up to skanks RULE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They aren't the only ones though - Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears - another mess, and yet only a few years ago Spears was a fresh, attractive girl she now is pictured stumbling around drunk without her underwear - where is the decorum girls?

Defiitely not, they are horrible and so are their partners. The Press and magazines should stop reporting their stupid antics and just let them drink and drug themselves to death. It might save a lot of impressionable young girls

mad those two women are made for life, and they want to ruin their lives by taking drugs. i reckon Amy whinehouse will probably be dead by the time she reaches 30. any young girls that see her as a role model is beyond belief.

Yes; any young girl wishing to pursue serious chemical abuse could do a lot worse than copy them.

They're terrible role models and it scares me to think that my daughter might one day look up to people like them.
