Yes it's sad. Reports say that the cuts to his wrist were superficial which means it was obviously a cry for help. Think about it...if a person really wanted to end their life, it really wouldn't be that hard.

I did not know about this and yes I am saddened by it. The HOllywood way of life will destroy most ppl as its all about money, power, sex and greed not for all, but for many and surely in the movie industry it is a tough way to life and still stay humble. Owen Wilson is a good actor, tho we dont go to the movies much anymore. as so many Christians, most so full of cursing and sex and violence, and full of new age and mysticism, none of whcih a Christian wants to be a part of But, yes we are saddend to hear of anyone wanting to end their life. I f ppl knew who they were in Jesus Christ, and all the options avaible thru Him, no one would ever be sad again. This is why we who believe in Jesus try to tell the world about it. Its not about money, power and prestige that brings happiness and peace. You can tell that by hearing the news one night a month. All that money and power and fame, and most are still miserable. Only Jesus can fill the empy place that needs to be filled. PPL can run to and fro all kinds of things trying to find love, peace and joy, but unless they find Jesus first, the rest just will only lead to more sorrow. Nothing wrong with having mney, but if you dont know Jesus , it usually will destroy you from the inside out. The one person that said to you is it your business? YOU know what, God is so sick of that attitude, and so am I. We used to be a nation that loved one another and cared and tried to be there for each other The more ppl abandon GOd for their own selfishness, the more we see this, ppl just dont care aymore, at least a huge percentage. The fact you still care is a good thing And I want to tell you that puts a smile on Gods face. When we dont care and love as Jesus loves, we really have nothing at all, no matter what we do or dont have in the bank. God bless you for your concern, and may God lead others to come to Him and see the love of GOd is the Key.
Loving God and obeying God and walking in the HOly spirit in purity and holiness is the only way to true Happiness, tho all are free to try to seek that anywhere else. I pray that you all find Jesus before you die or He returns, because then it is too late. Look around you folks, do you really want to be in a world where ppl die and get hurt and noone is giving a doggone. God loves us all so much , and we are alle qual to Him. HE is eager to forgive and give ppl a new start, but they must forgive. When we become a nation that doesnt care, we are doomed Look around you folks/ Is it getting any better????? Just a question to ask yourself , then take to God.
WE need to care......................................God has called us to love as He loves and yes we will care.

The Hollywood lifestyle is not all it's cracked up to be, obviously. Notoriety and money mean squat if you are not happy. Hopefully, he will recover and get out of the business for awhile. Some others have done so and when interviewed years later, it was a good move.

yes but it is sad when anyone attempts suicide wheather it be a famous person or not. I just wonder what has him so down in life that he cant see a way out

Yes, of course. He is a great actor. Hope he gets it all squared away soon. Sad that he doesnt realize all that he has.
