and now they think they have found her body, how will her parents feel? It will feel like the world doesnt care less about their daughter, did that get the publicity in the media or on here? No.
Its all Mccanns Mccanns Mccanns with you people.
Well I for one say ENOUGH. Its time we cared about other people in crisis especially ones that werent self inflicted to some extent. I feel so sorry for the young ladies friends and family yet all they will read about is the Mccanns. They deserve our support and sympathy yet all you people will ask about is the Mccanns, do you get some ghoulish pleasure out of it?
Is there a book of condolence anywhere? I wish to write something and make them feel better.

Given that up to 75% of the national pea stock has been lost due to floods, and the possibility of food prices going up, should we be that concerned given the amount of wastage and rejection that normally occurs due to crops not being quite the right size, shape etc yet perfectly okay to eat?

On many peoples' posts he is simply writing "reported". Block him now and if he reported you, report him right back.. if you need to find him to block him go to my post "Did you know I was a packet of supernoodles and you will find him/her there"

Given that during the key hour that seems to be disputed they were in the middle of the quiz. And given that they all seemed to be coming and going every few minutes to check on their kids (given their statements) there's no way they could have paid attention to what was going on in the quiz.

And yet with them all getting up and leaving every few minutes no-one seemed to have noticed the constant disruption from their table (since in most 'quiz nights' Ive been in, most people sit at their tables and its pretty obvious when people are constantly moving about as the McCann and co clan claimed to be).

It clearly is so much more important than the find of a body in the hunt for the Essex girl Natasha Coombs.

Is this the pathetic Justine McGuiness's last hoorah for the McCanns? It clearly is a press release - the words "grim" and "sad" are used for "the milestone". Pass me a sick bucket.

P.S. The words "flippin heck" are substituted for two other words beginning with F and H.

Another accident today killed three miners, this time in an air shaft under construction in a southern Indiana coal mine.

Rescue efforts continue in Utah at the site of the mine collapse but hopes are fast fading for the missing miners.

Mine disasters have inspired many great ballads as in these verses concerning the Springhill, Nova Scotia mining disaster:

In the town of Springhill, Nova Scotia
Down in the dark of the Cumberland Mine
There's blood on the coal and the miners lie
In the roads that never saw sun nor sky
The roads that never saw sun nor sky

Listen for the shouts of the bareface miners
listen through the rubble for a rescue team,
Six hundred feet of coal and slag
Hope imprisoned in a three foot seam,
Hope imprisoned in a three foot seam.

But it seems to me that what we should be writing are better laws. Bone and blood are too high a price to pay for coal.

What do you think?

What do you guys think of this? It was stated that a draft should be considered. And some Republican has stated it should be started in order to end the war.

What do you think?

President Bush's war advisors are suggesting that a compulsory draft needs to take place in order to bolster our troops who are undergoing repeated deployments in Iraq.

As yet, his official word is that he hasn't bitten. But his official word has often been the opposite of what he was planning to do or support(especially getting near election time).

So would you support it?
Would you fight it?
Maybe would you just leave the country and go to Canada?

and killed all those people. They knew the bridge was dangerous. There are hundreds more as dangerous in the US. Our goverment stinks!

Excerpt from news:

while the federal transportation secretary offered $50 million to help with recovery and rebuilding.

During her visit, Secretary Mary Peters stood near a fallen section of the bridge cluttered by wrecked cars as she announced the latest emergency aid. The funds are an advance on $250 million approved by Congress but not yet appropriated.

The money comes on top of $5 million in federal emergency aid pledged right after the Aug. 1 bridge collapse and $5 million to help the public transit system handle the loss of the heavily traveled span.

The secretary later stopped by a bus garage to promise another $5 million for transit. Transit officials have added express bus routes since the collapse and said the federal money will help cover the costs.

it was a horrible event, i know that, but only about 5 people died in the thing, and there were moments of silence all over the place, people considering cancelling things in the memory of those people,

put this in perspective, i know it was a slow news period but forget Iraqi War death tolls, 5 new american deaths occur every 65 seconds these days in general, where are their moments of silence? i wouldnt bring this up if i didnt just think maybe people were just so upset their commute would be ruined.

and all those bridge scares immediately after, so frustrating how we all react so late to everything then once something tragic happens we act so illogically, as if that one bridge will set off some sort of domino effect on the rest of the bridges in this country... I hope i didnt seriously offend anyone I just had to clear this off

http://www.strike911.org/

The General Strike is a national call to action, from citizens to other citizens. It is not about a single issue. It is not an anti-war protest, a civil rights protest, an election fraud protest. It is not about torture, surveillance, corporate media, the 9/11 coverup, or the environment. This strike is about all these issues and more.

They just said we can't leave Iraq because it would cause the country to collapse to an unfriendly government and the enite region would domino into a hostile enemy. Isn't that the same argument LBJ used to stay so long in Vietnam, and none of it came true? Do you think this is is a fair comparison?

School Yard shootings of 4 Black college students?
I'm sure you all have heard this story if not here is the link:http://www.cnn.com/2007/us/08/10/schooly...

But my question is, they have arrested 2 people so far, and one is a teenager and the other is an undocumented worker(illegal alien). Will the teenager be eligible for the death penalty since they are trying to try him as an adult. I know they will most likely pursue the death penalty against the illegal immigrant since the crime was gruesome and he committed another felony while killing them, but don't you think that this is the main reason why people are against illegal aliens, because the high rate of crime SOME of them committ.
