I have lost my son suddenly but due to natural causes what people don't realise is you are living in a surreal world where nothing seems real and you feel you are play acting just getting though one day at a time All the time you are telling yourself this is not happening to me Who knows how grief effects different people

losing a child in any cicumstances has to be the worst experience a parent can go through...to lose a child and have to carry the guilt of 'what if' must be almost too much of a burden to carry. I have thought that since the papers were reporting that the police are searching for a body instead of their little girl the strain on Kate McCanns face has been more evident.

If you take all the hype out of this, losing a child must be the most devastating thing that can happen to a parent. Personally I don't think I could cope.
Please, no comments about negligence. I'm just talking here about trauma.

I see guilt ... and pain in having to admit to that guilt. The guilt she has to live with and probably is slowly facing up to. might have done since she seems to have found the strength to lash back.
That guilt is what i see. She is not showing her hurt over losing her child to me ....

Added to say that is a comment on the video link. I avoid the whole case in all in the papers if i can. If I need McCan it's all here on Answers! :-)

I think this "milestone" has made them finally realise the truth, they may never see her again. I feel so sorry for Maddie because if she is still alive, she will have had to live with that thought.

I read her interview and I could feel her pain. All she kept on saying was we're sorry for leaving you. She looks like a woman who's going through agony. It's a pity I can't say the same for Gerry.

I see it. I feel so awful for the couple, particularly Kate. I've got a four year old and I just can't imagine . . .

It must be more painful for Madeleine not seeing her parents and wondering where her family went to.

t was heart breaking to watch, some people are just unwilling to see this for what it is. A tragedy.

I agree it must be painful to loose a child. No matter what age. I hope her baby comes home soon.
