Actor Sean Penn is currently touring Venezuela with President Hugo Chavez. Penn said that between listening to Chavez attack President Bush and calling us the Great Satan, it was like being back in Malibu."
What do you think?

You'd have thought two people who work in the medical profession would know how to remove all trace of the blood. Making an 'attempt to clean it up' doesn't sound like the work of two medical professionals. It sounds more amateur and slapdash. What do you think?

(just to make my stance clear, i'm neither pro nor anti McCann. Something doesn't sit right with me where the McCanns are concerned but i'm not at the stage of accusing them of murder)

Democrat Senator Barack Obama has announced his intention to run for president in 2008.

International leaders have criticised Barack Obama for saying US troops should withdraw from Iraq next year. John Howard, Australian PM, has said Mr Obama's stance on Iraq "will just encourage those who want to completely destabilise" the country.

The 45-year-old senator is widely considered to be the first African-American candidate with a realistic chance of winning the presidency.

What do you think of Mr Howard's statement? Has Obama proved he has what it takes to be president? What advantage does his early stance against the war give him? What about race: if you're an African-American voter, does Obama's colour matter?

Does anybody think that this sorry saga is now coming to a conclusion and what do you think that conclusion will be. I think that Kate is beginning to break down now, but I have grave doubts about Gerry. I think that he runs the show in that marriage.

"England rugby stars have filmed a video appeal in the hunt for Madeleine.

It will be posted on the YouTube website on Saturday, the 100th day since she was snatched in Portugal.

Skipper Phil Vickery said: "It's up to us all to keep looking because I still believe Madeleine is alive. Someone out there knows something."

Burly prop Phil, who met Kate and Gerry McCann last month, added: "I put myself in their position and it makes my stomach turn."

Stars from Madeleine's favourite soccer team Everton will also make filmed pleas."

Im not surprised Phil Vickery's stomach turned. What the McCanns did was disgusting.

Wonderful parents do not leave their young children alone in a foreign country. Neither would they leave the two younger ones in a nursery and jet off around the world. The children would be taken EVERYWHERE with them for the fear of been abducted also.
You obviously know nothing about being a kind, loving parent.
I bet you dont have children or you would most definately think differently!!

Oh well, I still have this one, I'll just create another back up now lol.

I wonder if Rachael Oldfield (shes one of the Tapas 9) will still moan today about how unfair the media is and the leaks from the police. If you don't remember her, she was the one with the 1 year old who wasnt with either her or her husband when they were having dinner with the McCanns.

I can only assume that means she was left in the creche or other suitable means. I doubt she would have left a 1 year old all alone in a room ............. that would make her as bad as the McCanns.

Attached is a load of manure claiming North Korea won the war. Opinions?

Anniversary of Korean People's Victory in War Observed
Pyongyang, August 3 (KCNA) -- The Songun Group posted an article titled "Warm congratulations to the DPRK on its victory in the Fatherland Liberation War" July 27, the 54th anniversary of the victory of the Korean people in the war.

The homepage said the Korean War was a just anti-imperialist, anti-U.S. war to achieve national liberation and win the class struggle and a war which defended socialism and global peace and propelled the world revolutionary movement.

The Korean War clearly proved validity and vitality of the Juche-oriented view on the war that the victory and defeat in war depend on the ideological and moral advantages, not on weapons, , adding the might of the Songun idea was fully demonstrated through the war.

President Kim Il Sung wisely led the Fatherland Liberation War against the U.S. imperialists to brilliant victory, performing great exploits for the Korean revolution and world revolutionary cause.

The director for political affairs of the Pan-African Movement in a statement July 26 noted DPRK's victory in the Korean War was a historic miracle and a world-startling event, adding the Korean people under the leadership of Kim Jong Il would always emerge victorious.

Why do the proPalestinian people say the terrorism aimed against Israelis like suicide bombers and Kassam missles is a direct result of a so called "occupation"? Just the other day,I found out there was terrorism against Israeli citizens long before 1967 war in which the Israelis occupied the West Bank, and even before Israeli came into existence as a nation in 1948. So that being the case, how can terrorism be a direct result of the "occupation"?

They need to get their act together. They want a vacation so bad, I guess that means we should pull out immediately, since they don't give a rats about their own country. We have no business being in Iraq.
