When Robert Murat was public enemy No.1, the McCann friends had no problem at all sticking the boot in, but now Rachael Oldfield has complained to the papers.

"Mrs Oldfield said: "They are throwing mud at us and we are not able to defend ourselves.""

Hmmm ....... where have I heard that before ...... Oh thats right! When YOU and your cohorts sat there and accused Mr Murat of hanging suspiciously around the apartment.

Doesn't feel so nice now does it Ms Oldfield, when the pressure comes 180 degrees?

"She added that she still believed it was an abduction.

"There would only be a small window for somebody to do it (abduct Madeleine) but presumably if somebody had been watching our movements then it would have been possible," she said. "

Yeah you keep clutching at those straws Rachael. The rest of us know better ........

By the way Rachael, you have a 1 year old child, where was she on the night of May 3? Surely you didnt do a 'McCann' as well and leave her all by herself???

If not, when do you think another attack will take place?

Do you think it will be worse than 9/11?

Anyone can expand on this notion I keep on hearing about lately...?

“AIDS – The good news is HIV does not cause it. The bad news is “recreational drugs” and medical treatments like AZT do.” Peter Duesberg, Ph.D. and John Yiamouyiannis, Ph.D.

"The HIV-causes-AIDS dogma represents the grandest and perhaps the most morally destructive fraud that has ever been perpetrated on young men and women of the Western world (...) AIDS has been a disease of definition. If we said that it didn't exist and didn't pay for it with taxpayers' money, it would disappear in the background of normal mortality (...)I feel that for scientists to remain silent in the face of all this doubt is tantamount to criminal negligence." Dr. Charles Thomas, Molecular Biologist and former Harvard and Johns Hopkins Professor.

Bush is supposed to be going a canada to have a meeting with their prime minister to solidify their plans for the N.A.U., (North American Union), and i've heard that U.S. soldiers are currently occupying Canada, and keeping it's citizens from having meetings about this occupation, and are already imposing on their rights in one small canadian town... where can i find an article, news report, canadian or american, to tell me about it?

and don't be a dumb @$$ and tell me there's no such thing. just because the media feeds you one story doesn't mean it's true.

We should be going after known al qaeda members, but what does it take to invest in our own country. With the bridge collapse in MN and 8 Aug 07 flood of downtown Cleveland after heavy rain, officials say that drainage and road conditions are outdated, yet we pump millions into Iraq and other countries that may or may not be our allies in a few years, and may even be hostile to the US in the future. What are the longtime benefits in Iraq going to help with if our country here is fallling apart today... Literally

I see lot of questions and answer about terrorism, 9/11 and all, everybody just likes to talk, but when the time comes to defend US or show patriotism people tend to get bored with it or change their minds, why is that?
After 9/11 everywhere you looked there were American flags, but after 3 months later, flags that filled the streets were no where to be found. Out of instinct, or hatred against terrorism, people signed up for military, but a year later many wanted to back off in their promise and we still see many of them on media, people running away or hiding, because they are thinking they made a mistake. where is the nationalism in US? i feel sorry for the country of this greatness, country deserves more!

After 9/11 which I found out that some are still making jokes regarding the question of does America deserve 9/11. For me with those arrogant and rude Americans who disregard other countries foreign policy I think they deserve 9/11 but on the other hand, since some of the people involved in 9/11 are from my own country, I think they donot deseve to be just by working and living in the US of A for that matter.

With the newest threat of Al-Qaeda, the sleepless in America would be in a longest night ever in their lives. These people who wants America to fall down on her knees wouldn't stop for anything or anyone.

USA was once full of indigents...and then something called "progress" happened. Otherwise, we would still be sharpening crappy tools with stone, not accumulating wealth, and bitching for everyone else to help us with redonkulous and easily preventible diseases like AIDS. No more help for africa. They can figure it out on their own.

About time someone on Team McCann have seen Gerry for the liability he is.

Still Kate is hopeless as well, but at least shes more likely to be unable to conceal key information so hopefully we will get more answers if she's brought to the fore.

On the radio today

"Mrs McCann said this mornings she had “come to terms” with the guilt she feels."

Bless, oh well, everythings alright then ..........

People are dying left and right from hunger, lack of medicines and drinking water in Bangladesh. Bangladesh Govt does not have enough resources or money to provide relief to the flood victims. 19 million people are displaced and without food, medicines, drinking water and shelters and most of these people live in less than US$1/day. This is a human tragedy in modern era. This news was not out there because lack of media interest. As a human being, we have moral duty to help the needy regardless of any country.

Bangladeshi Americans are working hard to raise money for the flood victims. You can donate at www.changebangladesh.com for these flood victims.
I will urge every individual please be generous and help those flood victims now regardless where we live.

Thanks,
M. M. Chowdhury, USA

And if they are arrested for this crime, how do you think it will affect people, I mean everyone has given them so much support, donations etc, (well in the beginning anyway) I'm not saying they may have murdered their daughter but I think they have more to do with it or are not giving over all the info, they even got to meet the pope!! will it jepodise future missing children cases, I hope not but I think a lot of people will be devestated, if what we are all thinking finally comes out.

Its all very well and good people reporting 'sightings' but this woman has had a previous record of having sighted things such as house fires which have made the paper.

If she's an attention seeker then she should be prosecuted for wasting police time. Im sure Belgium has many other cases waiting on forensic evidence that doesnt need to be delayed with this needless testing of a glass.

I might sound harsh, but I hope they go after her, purely because this is not the first time she has cried wolf. Her trying to gain publicity on the back of a likely dead child is out and out disgusting.

"In a radio interview Madeleine's mother, Kate McCann, said that although there was no positive news she was encouraged that people were still looking for her daughter.

"It says to us that people are still looking and that is really important and we would encourage that," she said.

"I probably have more hope now than I did at the beginning."

She added: "We haven't had any news to the contrary that Madeleine isn't alive, and that's very important."
"

Maybe her reaction is understandable if she believed from the start that the sighting was false, but it does seem to be a bit of a 'shrug the shoulders, oh well it wasnt her' kind of reaction.

Maybe she read my comments early on when I said the DNA result would prove to be false and she knows that if Dave S says something it must be true (lol, I say that last line tongue in cheek so don't all jump down my throat!)

I'm watching a Science channel program about the next mission to the moon, scheduled to launch in October 2008. When Bush announced his plans to send men back to the moon, and to attempt a permanent manned base on the moon, he was roundly attacked by liberals. Now this program is celebrating the upcoming mission, without any acknowledgment that Bush was the instigator of the attempt. Why the hypocrisy? Is it the scientific establishment that has the anti-Republican bias, or is it the media?
