I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but we were all created in God's image, ergo, whatever flaws each of us has, we have been on the receiving end of our creations, be it a bridge over 80 years old that has eroded and simply collapsed, or simply a glitch in the earth's core and Oakland or wherever just happens to be in the path, or the Tsunami just happened to hit where it did a couple of years ago, Hurricane Katrina damage which shoddy man-made work on the levees caused billions of $'s of damage, I can go on and on.

Another way of looking at this from a religious point of view, is God in all "HIS" wisdom created the Heavens and the Earth and the waters and the fishes in "his timeline of seven DAYS" - now I'm a staunch Christian, fully emersed into Christ since the age of 8 mind you but in all my mindpower, I'll never truly believe it only took 6 days to create this universe and on the 7th day, God rested. In his timeline- a day and this has been documented can actually run for thousands of years. The simple minded can believe what they want. I don't buy it! We are in the LAST DAYS of God's prophecy, folks, how much longer , NOBODY KNOWS! NOT BILLY GRAHAM, NOT ANY OF THESE OTHERS SUCH AS THE POPE, NOBODY KNOWS! PERIOD!

NOBODY KNOWS HOW OR WHEN,EITHER!

And none of you out there in answer land can taunt me or criticize me because I know what I put here is the truth. Noone's proven otherwise in all the centuries and not even Creationism, evolution or whatever has the total answer because its all the simple fact that each and every "day" we are alive, we all are a spec of dust in the universe and we only have so much control over destiny. Be it the world's or individual's.

I BELIEVE THE WORSE IS YET TO COME!

The bible tells us what to expect and it is much worse than what we are experiencing, although I do believe that the war based on a lie was the opening of Pandora's box.

It does seem, during biblical times, when GOD was upset with us there were natural catastrophes such as the earthquakes, burning and total destruction of SODOM AND GOMORRAH, the quake dividing the RED SEA, the LOCUST and the hail storms, the great flood and even the DAY TURNING TO the BLACKEST of NIGHT after the Crucifixion. So, if we are to go by history then I would say the things happening is at least a warning.

ACTUALLY WITH ALL THE DECADENCE, SUCH AS OUR COUNTRY HAVE NEVER KNOWN, WE CERTAINLY COULDN'T BLAME GOD FOR BEING ANGRY WITH US and we HAVE TO ADMIT that HE IS EXERCISING A LOT OF PATIENCE WITH US BY NOT ENDING THE WORLD.

I don't believe GOD IS PUNISHING US, I BELIEVE WE are punishing ourselves by the things we are doing.

Also, I believe that people who claim to be CHRISTIANS and WHO CLAIM TO BELIEVE IN GOD have to believe that with GOD, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE and there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BEYOND HIS POWER, which includes creating the heavens and earth in 6 days.

Natural catastrophes are the effects of sin in the world. You may have noticed that many of those calamities were human caused rather than divine caused. You can look at it negatively or positively. Positively, I mean let's repent and get on with the job of making "peace and order". Negatively, you can sit there and sulk.

Stuff happens. God's not punishing us... we're experiencing a combination of bad luck and the consequences of bad choices.
