One of those dogs detected a dead body - its a reliable dog what was a dead body doing in their apartment?

Apparently it takes a body 2 hours to start emitting the smell of a dead body that this dog detected.

Who cares what Gerry is doing? Wonder if he got his
stupid haircut. Maybe he's working on an alibi.

According to the Portuguese press, locked inside the villa with Kate and the twins, only allowing selected "friendly" British journalists inside, awaiting the forensic results from their rented Jeep and no doubt in close touch with his lawyers.

Oh my god, give the man a break. He needed a haircut, big deal. Who cares, why are people so determined to pick on anything the McCanns do? If you are meaning, why would he write this in his blog, maybe because Gery and Kate have been advised not to talk of any developments concerning the case in case it interferes with the enquiry or may put Madeleine at more risk.

Don't you think we should show support, for the McCanns. Right or wrong, the thing is , poor little Madeleine is still missing and the family need as much support and help to get their daughter back as possible, for Madeleine's sake.

Edit - Jack H - I have a 3 year old daughter and one on the way, and thers no way I would leave my children unattended. Quite the opposite, I'm very protective over my daughter, and if I was on holiday with her, I wouldn't even consider using a babysitting service because I'm so protective over her. I feel if you are on holiday with your family, well you eat at family times and do things best suited to the age of your children.
I definetly don't agree with them leaving their children alone, but I'm sure, not for one minute did they imagine that something like this would happen. I know this still does not make it accepatable. I've just tried to imagine the horror they are going through every night, not knowing if their little girl is dead or alive, or what is happening to her. I feel for them, but especially Madeliene. I look at my 3 year old fast asleep, and can't get wee Madlines face out of my head, thinking and worrying if she is going through some horrible ordeals. I feel, if we support them until Madeleine is returned, she is innocent, and needs to be with her family.

He's had a haircut, topped up the printer, had a run - what else could the man possibly have to occupy his time?

He could turn a few stones over.

Working out the new story to tell police when they confirm the blood was Madeleine's and that she laid dead in the apartment for several hours. It's going to be tricky to square with checking on the kids every 30 minutes...
