turning one of their citizens into a British style yob?

He came to Britain at the age of 5 and within a few years was carrying a knife and attacking teachers.

Sounds like he was integrating into British culture pretty well.

to think about the 2 million other families who r dealing with their kids going missing? I know the maddy situatoin is terrible but does anybody realise there are mthousands and thousands of children out there who have been taken and possibly tortured and killed whose families haven't a clue. i do find it a bit unfair that the mccanns are getting so much help when u dont see the authorities giving this much assistance to the millions of other poor families whose kids have gone missing. i hope the mccanns thank god the authorities are giving them a hand. i dont think they realise how lucky they are.
I think the justice system has messed up yet again tho. why give so much help to one family when millions of others are receiving none?
btw im not slagging the mccanns off. they are lucky to have the help.

What would people like to be referred to as from now on?

Personally, I would like to go with "justice seekers" and "Wishful thinkers"

(and before anyone says we don't need labels to put on different groups, you are right, but groups are gonna be labelled regardless of "rift causing" so we may aswell come up with names that every one agrees with, agreed?)

I heard that gangs are increasingly robbing drivers whose cars broke down on the freeway. If the driver gets out, the gangster would park their car behind the driver, get out, shoot him, and take his money. Like the way Bill Cosby's son died. Did anyone else notice an increase of this?

I have never understood why people have been bullying on here. This is a Yahoo! Answers question and answers site. Can we not just get along? Forget what has happened and behave like adults? Or is that to much to ask? Has the bullying on here been going on for too long for it to stop? Can the people who cannot forget and move on just ignore those who are bullying, rather than become a bully yourselves? You may ask who am I to ask such a thing? But I have been reviewing this situation for a while now. The only thing I do not know is who started it and why because I was not here when it first started and only have pieces of the puzzle, not the whole story. Not that it is any of my business, but I just think Yahoo! Answers should be a place for everyone.

do you think any of the most vociferous of those who have slated him & accused him of harming his Madeleine will have the courage & integrity to meet him face to face, man to man and thrash it out across a table???
(the word "thrash" being used figuratively not literally...)

OR will they continue to bleat out insinuations & accusations safely behind their neat & often numerous little nicknames...?

Please don't start that old song about "they left their children unattended"...i know that & never did i condone it.

I speak of the accusations against Gerry McCann harming his Madeleine & concealing evidence of it.

What do you think would happen if either Israel or the United States attacked Iran? How do you believe the countries in the region would respond, especially Iraq and Syria? How do you believe Iran itself would respond to the attack?

Because I don't. The mine flew in all the experts and equipment they could get but it's such a challenge to even find them. They are not God.

I just feel the families are being very ungrateful to them. I'm sorry for their loss - but 3 rescue workers gave their lives trying to recover their family members' dead bodies. It's all a tragedy, but I don't like how they are acting.

How do you explain the makers of "Loose Change" radically revamping their original film to exclude previous controversial claims (such as the Twin Towers were brought down by controlled explosions)? Are they now "gatekeepers" who are working for the Bush administration?

Is it not the case that the Bush administration, the neocons, their Democratic enablers, etc. are BAD ENOUGH without erroneously blaming them for 9/11?

Do you not understand that, for your theories to hold water, they require quasi-religious leaps of faith and an almost pathological aversion to physical evidence?

And finally, do you understand how your charges against the Bush administration DETRACT from legitimate criticism?

Michael Vick has seen the light and pleaded guilty to at least one felony count in connection with the dogfighting business he owns. Here's the detail from Wikipedia:

"By August 20, 2007, all the defendants on the initial federal charges including Vick had agreed to guilty pleas under plea bargain agreements, apparently avoiding facing the possibility of additional and more serious charges under the powerful Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, [1] [2] While terms have not been disclosed, prosecutors reportedly offered Vick a deal which would allow him to plead guilty only to a single felony charge."

Wouldn't it be better to SPARE the rest of us any further drivel from this person? Haven't we had enough already? I say Michael Vick should put his tail between his legs and slink off the world stage, never to be heard from again. What say you?

It has been reported that coverage of the war has gone down. However, it seems to me, as news on the war has gone down coverage of silly news(Paris Hilton, Spears etc.) has gone up.

But I suppose that's important to some peope too - so I'm an old fuddy-dud.

And SKINS! Millions of kangaroos are shot for their skins every year in Australia. According to Australian government code, orphaned joeys and wounded adults should be killed by decapitation or by being hit sharply on the head "to destroy the brain." When hunters kill a mother kangaroo who has a baby in her pouch, the baby is often yanked from the mother's lifeless body and stomped to death or left to writhe in agony. Please take a moment to speak out against SB 880 which allows the sale of body parts and skin in Ca.: The Honorable Arnold Schwarzenegger

I just don't understand! I'm looking at statistics and every year there are over 400,000 US deaths directly related to smoking. The Iraq War has drawn a little over 3700 US casualties. I feel the war is stupid and that we are under a misconception there, but why are the tobacco companies not stopped? It does not seem fair. I'm very novice when it comes to the tobacco and war debate, however just by looking at the numbers, this is what I get out of it. By all means this is not anything against the soldiers fighting for our Country. I wanted this to be more of a debate between the Deaths these two things have caused.
