Not unless someone makes a move first, like North Korea attacks Japan. Since Cheney-Bush believes in fighting war on the cheap, there are basically no reserves for another campaign any bigger than the invasion of Grenada. If the US had to fight another war, Iraq and Afghanistan would have to be pretty much abandoned. It would be a logistical nightmare because equipment and supply stocks have been run down.

The Cheney-Bush apologists like to bash Clinton for wrecking the military, but if things don't turn around fast, the sad state of military preparedness will be a major scandal when the next administration takes over.

Uh, why cover anything up? He can't get re-elected. Terrorists may try 5 or more assassination attempts on him after he leaves office, just like they did his father. Jeb Bush is possibly planning to run, barring any more stunts from his children, he might keep the terrorists on the run for the rest of the family if elected, but doesn't have much a chance to win, at least not in '08. I'll bet on Rudolph W. Giuliani or Obama, but am hoping for Giuliani since he is the one who cleaned up New York and should be able to do the same for the states. Bush will either voice his support, or not, depending on how it will help or hurt Republican votes. I'd like to see Bush join the Democrats to pull votes back toward the Republican side, just so Giuliani will win, though I'm independent.

If Iran gets nukes, Israel will nuke Iran. is that this what we want? no one needs conflict with Iran (different than bush, chaney, fox information, fundis, fascists) yet we could convince the international and Iran to get rid of their nuclear targets.
