do you think any of the most vociferous of those who have slated him & accused him of harming his Madeleine will have the courage & integrity to meet him face to face, man to man and thrash it out across a table???
(the word "thrash" being used figuratively not literally...)

OR will they continue to bleat out insinuations & accusations safely behind their neat & often numerous little nicknames...?

Please don't start that old song about "they left their children unattended"...i know that & never did i condone it.

I speak of the accusations against Gerry McCann harming his Madeleine & concealing evidence of it.

Hmm - as one poster was actually asking for people to meet Gerry with her at the airport, I can't help but hope the answer is "no". The lynch mob attitude really does worry me ...

And actually, what's done is done. Gerry doesn't have to answer to anyone on this planet, unless it is the law or his daughter.

I would speak to him faith, and kate and the twins too.
Despite what people on here may think of social work (read as me!!) from a work perspective something like this would be very difficult and challenging as the family require a considerable amount of support (which could be accessed via social services - particularly specialist support for the twins) social work is not an enforcement agency (its just one element of it)

An assessment of their situation and needs would be thorough and non judgemental and you are right, meeting someone face to face often changes your perspective on something, its easy to say things from the outside looking in. But part of any discussion with them would have to be about their childcare practices on holiday which I am sure they would never repeat now. Whilst they have not admitted any liability publicly (most likely they have been advised not to and it appears from some comments that their advice has not always been the best) my feeling is this might be different in a private situation. They may require support to deal with their feelings about this, Kate said not a day goes by when she doesn't think about that - those feelings must be eating her up and anything she could be offered to get her through this she would be.

I have never said the twins need to go into care - children should stay with their families unless it is not safe for them to do so - there is no evidence that the twins are at risk of immediate harm.

I hope that answers your Q?
(and maybe some of the myths about my views)

I don't think anything will stop the idiots bashing Gerry McCann, even a fully signed confession from the real killer won't do the trick.

I agree with you about how they go on and on and on about 'shouldn't have left Madeleine' as if they almost hope for a grizzly outcome just to pay back her parents. Their fixation on this issue points to people with very little intelligence, one tracked brains that have finally found something they think they understand. The same sort of people who march on the homes of pedophiles blowing all chance of the rest of us knowing where these sickos live in order to protect our children.

hi faith, i personaly would have no problem telling the maccanns to their face, what i think about them.
but i really dont see the point of suggesting it should be done.
whats the point in trying to speak with them,, all that would accomplish, would be more lies, from the maccanns.
how can you converse with them when they wont even admitt they have done wrong.
now there have been posts in here that, have been totaly uncalled for, but then again tthere are plenty of staments from the maccanns that were also totaly uncalled for.
