I have never understood why people have been bullying on here. This is a Yahoo! Answers question and answers site. Can we not just get along? Forget what has happened and behave like adults? Or is that to much to ask? Has the bullying on here been going on for too long for it to stop? Can the people who cannot forget and move on just ignore those who are bullying, rather than become a bully yourselves? You may ask who am I to ask such a thing? But I have been reviewing this situation for a while now. The only thing I do not know is who started it and why because I was not here when it first started and only have pieces of the puzzle, not the whole story. Not that it is any of my business, but I just think Yahoo! Answers should be a place for everyone.

Relax Trev, and ignore those who bully. They're just trolls who can't do better. If we stand up for each other trolls normally know they're defeated. You're right YA is a place for everyone. Take care! xx

Good question. I would like to answer more in this section but I am constantly put off by some of the posts on here.
Shame how a minority can ruin things for the majority.

Unfortunately due to the varying levels of intelligence on this WORLD wide site, you are never going to rid the place of Cyber Bullies. Anyone who is affected by them, really shouldn't be. Just ignore stupid bullying questions and those who answer with abuse.

In fact. REPORT bullies & abusive answers. I do. I love it.

I think the best thing to do is to ignore them, its as simple as that really, people who engage in conversation and argue with them make it worse as trolls/bullies do what they do for a reaction. I dont understand why people have arguements with them, they are not here to have adult conversations, they are here to create tension and make this place less enjoyable for others. I wouldnt even see them as a threat, they will leave if people just ignore them, thats just my opinion.

Yes there are bullies in current events, what they do is report you and get your account suspended so that you don't come back in and answer questions. Talking from experience I am.

Unfortun8ly the net has become a refuge for the sad the bad the mad and the lonely. There are are people with unresolved anger issues in their lives who lacking the education or vocabulary of legitim8 dissent resort to crude threats and violence. It is also a trolling ground for all sorts of scammers, psychos and paedos. I have in fact just finished sorting out one 'Obangingerpussy'-you would think at least he'd have the sense not to let slip the Scottish coastal town of his origin. I have every sympathy on here 4 poor people with genuine concerns, but will prosecute cowardly filth like that without mercy!
