Ok guys, here is another person's continual and repeated assurances that Saddam was NOT a terrroist..does anyone actually think like this???

"Message: ok. here's your problem. you associate any significant killing of innocent people as terrorism. if a leader orders his military to kill his own people, that is not terrorism."

Madeleine is barely mentioned anymore. She's only four and God knows what has happened to her - if she is found alive (as I hope she will be), she has a hugely difficult life ahead of her. Why doesn't anyone seem to understand it is the child that needs to be the focus here? And if you think the McCanns aren't concerned enough about their daughter - what makes you any better through the things you are writing here?

Can you please explain to me (preferably in a rational and inoffensive manner) what you feel is being achieved by continually making sick jokes, throwing about conspiracy theories and generally having a go at them?

Yes I know it has been raining hard!

Is it the effects of Global Warming as the gov. and the greenies and liberals would have us believe or

Is it the amount of building and structural changes to the terrain that have largely caused it.

Forget about the floodplains for now, Look at the amount of Trading Estates, Supermarkets, Housing estates, roads etc that have been built.

All of these cover the land in concrete or tarmac and take away the natural drainage of the land.
They force rainwater into runaways that are not a natural part of the geography.

Look at all of the "Polly tunnels" now covering acres and acres of land.

Look at all of the intensive farming going on where farmers are building fast irrigation into their fields to allow rain water to run off as quickly as possible.

Are these not the real reasons for the cause of such severe floods. The government would have us think "Not" as it suits their tax policies to blame global warming.

What do you think

Kate - May 26th

'At worst, we were naive'

Gerry - July 23rd

'Kate and I are not naive'

Or is it that your naive when it comes to basic parenting skills, but not naive when it comes to manipulative marketing opportunities?

Why am I surprised though. Is there anything they've said that they haven't later contradicted, backtracked, whatever other term you care to use.

I have just read somewhere that "Sir Gerry" is to be trying to make a stand against child abduction and to try and teach parents about the bad sides of neglecting children.

Ok, here is my question. Which parent is going to listen to him and take him seriously?? Its my view that other parents should be proving to him just what child neglect means, not vice versa.

Please can this man just be gagged.

And please let us find poor missing Madeleine.

First the story from the Mail.

"Accompanied by the family's campaign manager, Justine McGuinness, Mr McCann will discuss tackling child abduction with experts from the National and International Centres for Missing and Exploited Children.

He is to meet with US Attorney General Alberto Gonzales today between 12.30 and 3pm Washington DC time (between 5.30 and 8pm British time).

A McCann family spokesman said: "They want to deepen their knowledge of the legislative position in the US.

"Part of what they are thinking is that, looking further down the track, they want to try and persuade various European authorities, both at the national level and the EU level, that they should look to a more integrated process similar to that in the US.

"The laws in each EU member state are all different. Given the trafficking aspect of the issue, they would like to find a template which they could then encourage the EU member states and the EU itself to adopt."

It means literally, as per Oxford Dictionary, to manipulate a
situation etc to gain advantage.
A person who applies this practice is known as a gerrymanderer.

OK, OK, maybe there was no call for that, but seriously just looking at this picture makes me want to whack him. At what point will the fact that his and his wife's actions have directly led to their girls disappearance actually going to sink in??

And 2 other things to note in this pic.

1) Where is the find Madeleine shirt?

2) Where is the find Madeleine luggage tags that his neighbours designed? ( thanks Dolly K for pointing that out)

Yet again Gerry follows the do as I say, not as I do rule.

As a "fundamentalist" Christian I stand on GOD's commandment "Thou shall NOT murder"!!! Is this the place where we differ from Jihad terrorist murderers? Perhaps...BUT...

I see a sad similarity.

It was out of Christian Fundamentalist "pro life" objection to babycide (via Abortion) of God's children in self-centered human female's wombs, that some deplorable "anti-abortionist" violence (terrorism ?!?) grew, to the point that abortionist's lives were targeted, and abortion clinics were bombed. (I am NOT violent, and pro life)

Are muslim FUNDAMENTALIST murderers so unfathonable to violent Christian anti-abortionists ??? Self-righteous murderers all !!!

As a FUNDAMENTALISTS Christian I believe there are FUNDAMENTAL DIFFERENCES; but can you express them?

Yet a critical piece on them by the Express yesterday that suggested an inquiry might be launched to look into the McCanns behaviour that night, and no other paper mentions it. Not even a peep (sans the Evening Standard who then turned the story on its head to say how a 'smear campaign' against the McCanns was taking place)

Balanced reporting as usual from the British media.

(and need I go into how the Evening Standard completely changed the tone of their story yesterday from the morning's online edition to that which appeared in the afternoon. How suspicious is that?)
