Please just take a moment to send a prewritten message to Nike urging them to cut their ties with Michael Vick. His behavior is abominable - everyone must see this and the consequences of his actions. The link is below. If it does not work, visit www.hsus.org (The Humane Society website) and you will find the link to do so.
Thank you!

many people of the UK have suffered devastating and traumatic effects of the recent floods my heart goes out to them.

We in the Uk donate millions of pounds every year to world wide national disasters I have no problem with that at all.

When a national disaster occurs in our own country where are the Live Aid or Band Aid appeals of this world to help our people?

May be some pop star or other celebrity might like to organise an appeal for these desperate people, you never know you might get yourself in line for a knighthood

Do you like anyone in particular that is running and why? What is that person's view on education, health care, peace, international affairs, the "war on terrorism", global warming, etc?

She's not dead YET...but I'm sure she soon will be.

How do you think she will die, and when?

I say she goes out by the end of the year, Bon Scott-style: drunk and drugged-up, passed out, and dies choking on her own vomit.

What say you?

Don't get me wrong, Bush is a complete moron. I do not support bush for anything. But now we are being plain ridiculous.

For those who do not know, bush made it illegal for anyone to support a protest that interferes with the rebuilding of Iraq.

And what people are saying, including Russian lawyers(WFT?), is that one of the statements is open ended and, potentially, could possibly be interpreted that you cannot protest the war. Frankly, this is not the case. Even in a stretch cannot see this being interpreted by a lawyer and convicting anyone for a simple protest. bumper stickers don't hurt nobody unless you can prove the money went to a terrorist. Screw Russia!

I have read the bill myself, and here is what they are saying
"an act or acts of violence"
First of all!!!!! this means an act, or several acts. This is NOT open ended. Bush is an idiot and this is more of a waste of time than anything.

With everything bush has done, we do not have to make stuff up against him!!!!!!!!!

"Montgomery County Circuit Judge Katherine D. Savage dismissed the nearly three-year-old case against Mahamu Kanneh last week, saying the delays had violated the Liberian immigrant's right to a speedy trial." what about the little 7 year old girls rights??? What is going on with our judicial system!

(Talking about a headline in a newspaper)

'The headline suggests that Kate and I face prosecution for neglecting our children by dining 50 yards away and checking on them regularly. We know that there has been criticism in some quarters of our actions but at the time, we felt our actions were responsible. We were essentially performing our own baby listening service although we have talked of the guilt we felt at now being there at the moment Madeleine was taken.

We have been advised that legally our behaviour was well within the bounds of responsible parenting and subsequently been assured that no action will be taken. These types of criticism, particularly at this stage, as well as being hurtful are extremely unhelpful in the search for Madeleine. From the moment we discovered Madeleine missing Kate and I have done everything in our power to try and help get her back.'

Is this one of the worst cases of self vindication that you have EVER COME ACROSS ???

Kate flew out of Portugal with her brother and sister. They are joining Madeleine's father Gerry, who is already in Britain.

He has been meeting with child abduction experts to learn about criminal profiling techniques used in the hunt for his young daughter.

could it be that he realises that the police have been profiling them,on their various interviews on tv, it would be a very silly person who would think, that the police have not been doing this

I worked in Spain a few years back, one of my jobs was to go to a complex on excursion night. I would pick up the keys from reception, sometimes 40 odd keys and my job was to walk around the complex listening at the chalet door to hear crying etc. If I heard crying I unlocked the door comforted the child then went on my rounds. Sometimes taking an hour to complete the round.

This service was offered to the McCanns, they chose to check on their own children. That night, you can bet there were many children left alone, tell me how the babysitting service differed from the McCanns going to check on their children?

I was not given any checks to work with children out there, lucky enough they got me, not some paedophile. My advice abroad is stick with your children at all times, forget the babysitting, its just as risky as leaving them alone.

Sorry, this is still bugging me!

Is it really okay for Gerry to keep comparing eating at the Tapas Bar with eating in the garden.

I ask this as their apartment had its own private garden, so having a meal there obviously would be like eating in the garden. Going to the Tapas Bar would be like what it really was - going down the pub?

Apart from the grief of losing her, if you had known the McCanns as a happy family living their daily lives at home, wouldn't there be more empathy than negativity? I ask this for the simple reason that there is no evidence whatsoever to prove that the McCanns were negligent of their babies back home in the UK, which fact, just doesn't warrant the venom against them out here.
