America has already fallen; it just isn't dead yet.
Like the great Greek and Roman empires, American has fallen because of the deadliest of sins: greed, lust, vanity and sloth. We've become far too rich for our own good; we arrogantly squander 55% of the Earth's resources while representing only 5% of the world's population; we belittle, intimidate and run rip shod over all other nations on the planet; and we lazily ignore the real problems facing our Earth such as global warming, depletion of the rain forests, rape of the mangrove forests, and the lack of any concern for the preservation and protection of the delicate ecological balance between all men, plants and animals.

Not sure if America will totally fall apart but I fear something really bad could happen someday. I don't think it is a matter of if but when. A radical islamic group could come to power in Pakistan. Iran, North Korea, Syria, could sponsor Al-Qaeda or some other terrorist group to smuggle a dirty bomb, chemical, biological, or full scale nuclear bomb across our border and strike us here so badly it would make September 11th and Pearl Harbour pale by comparision.

Freedom is what this country is all about; and that means open borders. The way to deal with the issue of immigration is by dealing with the under laying problems (the reasons the people leave their own countries in the first place) not to erect inefficient fences that end in the middle of the desert and that anyone can walk around.
Bush is thinking with a 10th century mindset.

The border is a huge problem, no doubt. But that problem was brought on by a federal gov't which has ignored the U.S. Constitution continuously for about 40 years.
So the real problem is those who keep getting re-elected decade after decade.

"popular expertise" says the international has a 40 3 hundred and sixty 5 days furnish of oil. regardless of the undeniable fact that, we've had the comparable "40 3 hundred and sixty 5 days" furnish for some years - we in simple terms save looking greater oil. u . s . a . of america imports approximately 0.5 of its oil, and would desire to swap to greater family contributors production if the fee of oil maintains to be severe. by contrast, Europe and Japan would desire to import in simple terms approximately all the oil they use. We do would desire to head far flung from petroleum-based gasoline to a minimum of a few thing cleanser and with any luck greater inexpensive. Petroleum is likewise functional for many stuff to boot being burned as gasoline. have you ever or absolutely everyone you recognize invented fusion power? Are you adverse to nuclear power? Your pronounced opinion that u . s . a . of america's decline began in "the early 1880s" (after Reagan became elected) betrays your left/liberal, anti-capitalist, anti-western political slant. Are you somebody who believes the U.S. (pronounced on your question) relatively became the "workers' paradise"? might you even pose this question if a Democrat have been in the White abode? u . s . a . of america is in a continual state of revolution and renewal - the previous regime "falls" each and every time we've an election and the incumbent unearths himself/herself out of place of work. it relatively is a self-renewing gadget which will very probably circulate on working as long because of the fact the neither the extreme Left or the extreme perfect manages to snatch commonly used power. a genuine revolution (the taking photos sort) would be mandatory if that occurs.

I'd have to agree with you. I think if Americans cannot be represented by their government and borders cannot be controlled, the American way of life will be diminished. I don't necessarily think the border crisis is the root cause of what may be the downfall of America, but I do believe it is one of the symptoms.

Borders need to be protected and immigration laws enforced, both at the border and throughout the country.
We need and should continue to welcome immigrants, but those who enter the country LEGALLY. Illegals should be held to account for their actions, and it doesn't matter if they've been good citizens or have poor people back home.

We need to worry more about other issues than border issues....also, the canadian border more than the mexican border....we should worry about global warming more, because, terroist could bring down america, but global warmig could bring down the whole world.
