Day 79 - 21/07/2007
Relatively quiet day on the campaign front. Spent the day with the kids and visited the Algarve ZooMarine which they really enjoyed, particularly the dolphins.
who is madeline??????????? cant believe the whole reason for this website and she is not even mentioned!!!
at least they are up that cliff in 16mins now!!! ffs!!

faith if my daughter was missing I would be a hysterical wreck and not be able to enjoy myself with dolphins as I would be heavily sedated mess

missy- I may not of lost my child through neglect, but my dads cat went missing!!! he didnt sleep the whole 6 days she was gone he was so worried about her. maybe he should of taken the opportunity to blog his daily events, start a collection for his missing cat to be found, meet rolf harris, but then forget his cat was missing in the first place.
but no he was sad, worried sick and a wreck by the end of 6 days! the cat is now back and will not leave my mum and dads side... that is their cat! imagen if it was one of their children!

If they wanted to see sea life, why not stay in and watch free willy, etc . They have given a terrible image of parenting, right from when they put their socialising before their family!
No good news will come of this im afraid.

Well I'm with Faith on this one, because I am going through a tough time with one of my children and a terminal illness, I know for a fact that if I were to write a blog the last thing I would be doing is making everyone else feel better by displaying my grief and torment just so that everyone felt I was doing things 'correctly'. I would be talking about the fun things we all do, the mischief the cats cause, the way my daughter enjoyed picking lavender yesterday to make little muslin scented bags.
It doesn't mean we aren't breaking up inside, it just means I choose to keep certain emotions private.
I don't endorse the McCann way of parenting, but I don't understand how you all think you can get a true picture of someone by reading a blog.

Nicely said Eden........everyone seems to have an opinion on how the McCanns are conducting themselves but no one has the experiance of being in their place! As I have siad before, the narrow mindedness of some people is frightening.

Yep - Sunday is the day the resort's creche is closed, isn't it? Never mind - six more days of running and touring before they have to trouble themsleves with those bothersome kids again!

He has said its a quiet day & goes on about his twins.
What more do you want to know???
Would you like to know that he cries himself to sleep every night over Madeleine. I'm sure he does, but he doesn't have to enter it into his blog just for someone else's perverse vicarious enjoyment.
And even if he did, you wouldn't believe him then, would you?
Edit: I would be a wreck too Curlynurse69. But we are not them and they are not us and they do need to give their twins some semblance of a normal life, don't you think? They must be wrecks in the quiet confines of their own rooms, not in the public.
