'Kate and I are not naive'

Or is it that your naive when it comes to basic parenting skills, but not naive when it comes to manipulative marketing opportunities?

Why am I surprised though. Is there anything they've said that they haven't later contradicted, backtracked, whatever other term you care to use.

EDIT - Dollybird. Did you even read the 2nd last paragraph I wrote? I would have thought you would have at least had enough faith in my intelligence that I would have known about what context each was spoken in ;)

Good link - that's the first time I heard about them not checking the kids for 50 minutes - so is it really 50 minutes or will their stories change yet again on further probing?

Yes! Another block blunder by the doc and his kiss me kate!! The McCanns.

This is now becoming a complete circus without the wire, spotlights, animals and clowns apart from the one and only Gerry McCann the circus clown ring leader with his day to day bloggs, misspelling stupid blunders, gaffs wrong names, jogging up and down a sandy hill with Kate and many more!

Of course they were naive they were only parents for three years or so. It should be noted that's no excuse whatsoever. Nothing could excuse what they have done!! You can't booze and live like a childless couple with three young toddlers.

I can only hope that the authorities take action quickly and stop this ridicuous circus getting more outragous each day!

They are not naive at all. They are professionals, their eduction and training as doctors should guarantee that they knew it was ridiculous to leave small babies unattended. That was the decision they made - they could have made a very different one there were plenty of opportunities ie take kids with them/babysitters/ask friends to babysit etc but they chose to leave the children unprotected in everyway. I wish they could be more honest. It seems that they have people protecting their every move and they have not been challenged properly about what happened that night.

Even if you are naive you ahve to been a total blithering idiot to leave your young children alone, even for a minute! I would never dream of doing such a thing at home, let alone at a resort where anything can happen. It seems to me that when you have children you expect to make certain sacrifices, one of these should be that you cannot just get up and walk out on them when ever you feel like it. I hope they recieve public condemnation wherever they go for a very very long time! What they did to those children is unforgiveable. They are no better than the person that abducted their little girl!

Its called "CONTEXT" as Dollybird rightly points out.
You haven't answered her point, btw.

PS: You must feel like a Sultan...the way your followers keep going, Yes Dave! Yes Dave!...

Another classic McCann contradiction! When will they stop lying and tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

I was just thinking the only way we could have stopped Gerry going to see the US Attorney General would have been to say that's where Maddy is....but as I am a bit naive I didn't.
