Ok guys, here is another person's continual and repeated assurances that Saddam was NOT a terrroist..does anyone actually think like this???

"Message: ok. here's your problem. you associate any significant killing of innocent people as terrorism. if a leader orders his military to kill his own people, that is not terrorism."

Its not?

So what you are saying is that it was OK to gas the Kurds.

9/11 cost me a least 100k and 100k a year after that for lost wages. I have no problem sending troops to the middle east and have that region join the 21st Century.
Israel is the only county there that I consider modern and respectful.

The Iraqi's had the chance and look what happened. The Iraqi Govt. wants to take a two month vacation.

Grow up dude.

At least we got the oil!

Don't forget that Saddam order the invasion of another country. Remember the Kuwait war.

Saddam was a monster who should not have been left in power after the Kuwait war. Of course, there are greater monsters out there who also need to be removed from office and brought to justice and yet they are ignored.

He wasn't a threat to the US or the region.

He should have been the last thing on our minds. Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan should have come first. He was easy to keep an eye on.

Hmmmm...i'm sure his people were 'terrorized' and they were terrified when he let loose a barrage of mustard gas on them...so he is a 'terrorist' in my book.

Anyone who instills fear and terror into one or more people is a terrorist.

The pot shouldn't call the kettle black. A terrorist is in the eye of the beholder!
