Is it just me or is this thing (like the Iraqi war) getting a little drawn out.

And how divisive will the question be?!

I'm not an Imus fan or supporter, but read his quote in context:

Why didn't his producer get called on the carpet? He spoke first.

...should Rosie O'Donnell be fired for supporting Iran over Britain during the hostage incident, and for accusing the US government of bombing one of the World Trade Center buildings on 9/11?

I believe that the world has always been very rough if one is a female, but for a short while it appeared that some strides were being made for women. Now, it seems most of those gains are being eroded as the emphasis on economic survival of the fittest in the developed western hemisphere is becoming more and more prevalent - especially weakening whatever little safety net there ever has been in the past century...What do other people think about this topic? Thanks.

Why does yahoo remove anti-US posts but allow anti-Iraqi posts?

Its like the US Govts double standards, shows off its prisoners on tv in guantanamo etc, Saddam etc, but does not want Iran or anyone else parading the western pows on tv.

Do you think the west is full of itself and that is why the world has stopped believing it?

I feel really bad for the guy. He got really busted up in a car wreck, but he wasn't wearing his seat belt. A state trooper was driving, do you think HE will also get a ticket? If it was an average citizen I bet it wouldn't matter how bad you are hurting, some cop would come in and lay the ticket on the little table next to your bed, then sign the cast for one of your many broken bones!
It might be interesting to follow this. If the governor doesn't get a ticket it opens the door for ALL people to claim the law doesn't apply. After all they will have set a precedent!
I hope he heals completely but lets see if a public official gets special treatment.

WADDAYASAY TO THAT?

Should we install mandatory requirements in college sports like football and basketball that forces the college to offer proportionately equal scholarships to white players? Considering that whites make up 80% of the USA population and blacks make up 13% (2005 Census) it seems unfair that the football and basketball teams are predominantly black. If we balk at this question then why do we support forcing colleges to hire black coaches?

Another side note that not many reporters had the nerve to report was when Patrick Ewing Jr, in reference to Georgetown's Basketball program, was quoted that "the Princeton offense was mostly associated with white people, not athletes." Why did this not become headline news and a cry from the public about racism? Is it ok to call white people " non-athletes" ?

It appears to me that the USA has started embracing reverse racism and will it eventually make the non-racist white person become racist because of the consistent one sided complaining?

Imus' show should not have been canceled, or his radio program. 2 weeks was enough, but idiots like Rev. Al Sharpton was pushing for more. its not like Imus hates black people. he said something wrong, and he apologized. its not like he said it and was like "i meant it, i hate them". and its not like black people dont make racial comments too. whats your opinion?

See how ridiculous this question is? This is the position Sharpton and Jackson puts themselves in.

Why would Imus agree to meet with those goons when he should have just met the Rutgers' women and them alone?

Millions of people protest the Iraq war everyday.
NOTHING CHANGES.

Imus says three words and in one week - He's FIRED..

How can we get George Bush to make a racially charged remark? Get Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson in Congress.. They know how to GIT 'ER' DONE...

Have you heard the news story about some moronic kid who advertised a party on her Myspace page, then wondered why her house got trashed? http://www.mg.co.za/articlepage.aspx?area=/breaking_news/other_news/&articleid=304692

What really annoys me is that the idiot parents called it "house rape". HOUSE RAPE???!!! Yeah, right. That's got to be the stupidest phrase I have ever heard. Trivialising a serious crime like rape like that is just utterly stupid, these crimes are nothing alike!!

Thanks for listening, I needed to let off steam there. Anyone else just think that 'house rape' is a ridiculous concept?
