Two words....money and oil. They want to rape the middle east of its oil....while friends of Bush reaps the rewards of making money(like Haliburton).
We (the USA) have enemies...but they are 'within.' They are not from any other country.
Pray for us.

The US did not attack Iraq because of WMDs. They attacked because US oil companys wanted access to Iraqi oil fieds. Iraq invaded Kuwait and took Chevron's oil fields there so Bush Sr. took them back. He certainly wasn't intrested in spreading democracy then _ he re installed the KING on the throne. He would have invaded Iraq then but the Saudi royal family vetoed it. Bush Jr. finally got the Saudi approval and did the deed. Unfortunately he tried the limited war stratagy that the US has employed since the Korean war and it resulted in a fiasco just like Korea, Vietnam, Lebanon, Afganistan & Sudan.

No, sorry. There is no real US policy in the Middle East right now, other than to try to placate Israel. Iran's potential as a nuclear power has been known for the last 15 years at least. Israel bombed Iraq's Osirak nuclear reactor in 1981. So now they want to bomb Iran. The problem is that Israel has actual nuclear weapons - not just the potential. Should we bomb them too?
We need a new president in the US who will actually make foreign policy now. It's time we actually got a comprehensive policy for the Middle East that is both tough and fair. Any foreign aid, and arms sales in the region must be contingent on each country's ability to meet stringent benchmarks which show they are moving towards peace.
I think they are all just playing us, and we are playing ourselves too - big corporate contracts go to defense contractors. And of course, we are "interested" in oil.
If you don't agree - go ahead and prove me wrong.

Oil has nothing to do with the attack on Iraq.. USA has spent more money on the war and rebuilding that she would have spent on oil.The real reason for the attack was to promote freedom and for USA to have a presence in the middle east..USA is fully aware that muslim terrorists were produced by madrossa schools.. Young children programed in these schools to hate and kill.USA wanted to reprogram this mindset.. it was alternative to killing all the terrorists produced by these schools.. which would be in the hundreds of millions.. ..These schools have been programing children into jihadists for decades..It is by no means over . It does most certainly concern the safety and freedom of the entire world.

No, you don't understand it. The US attacked Iraq because it was a terrorist state. It practiced terrorism domestically, but more important to the US, it supported and sponsored terrorism internationally. In the wake of 9/11, it seemed advisable to take preemptive action to prevent future terrorist attacks on the US.
Maybe it's a coincidence, but there haven't been any more terrorist attacks on US soil.
