Modern liberalism is all about being a victim.
If America fails than we all be victims and they feel they have done a good deed.

I am not American and I am not a liberal. However, most freedoms, rights and benefits Americans enjoy come from liberals. The conservatives have taken away a lot of those freedoms recently, and have generally opposed anything that brings about a more just society. It astounds me how much ignorance exists among many right wing Americans about what liberalism is. The world in general can see the GOP is evil. However, many of its supporters have the audacity to slander liberals. Western Europe is liberal. Liberalism has generally been a very positive force in the development of those societies. Also understand that not all Democrats are liberal. I am not sure many Democrats know what it is to be liberal. It is largely owing to liberals that the United States has democracy and freedom of speech, whatever is left of these after George W. Bush and the GOP tore into them. It is largely because of what the GOP has done over decades that terrorists are attacking the United States. The best friend a terrorist has is the GOP. The whole world expected terrorist attacks on US soil. It came as no surprise when it happened except for the fact that most people in the world thought a nuclear device would be used, not planes. Almost the whole world can see how the GOP is destroying the US. Why can the GOP's supporters not see this? I have some American friends and every time the GOP wins any substantial part of any election, I fear for their safety and their well-being.

Let me start off by telling you that I feel that I'm a commpassionate person, and a liberal. I don't want America to fail at anything. Can I ask you why our country cares more about this stupid war that had NOTHING to do with the attacks on September 11, than it does it's own people?

They gain nothing by America`s successes. The more America falls, the more America`s voting idiots will think the democratic party will save them....and the dems in power know that.

Its because of guilt my intelligent friend. They feel guilty for various reasons. Because they're White, because their daddy married his cousin, because they don't know who their daddy is. The lib mind is a real mystery and I believe that science should study there brains using live autopsies on some leading libs such as Rosie O'Donnell , Bill Mohr or Hanoi Jane Fonda thus sparing harm to any innocent lab rats
