I hear their is a huge call for his producer to be opusted as well. After all, he was the first one to say "hos" when he called the girls hardcore hos. He definitely needs to follow Imus out the door.

Well I know Imus comments were very nastey but Sharten and Jackson are both hypocrites. Imus shouldnt of been fired in my opinion. He agreed to talk with the girl's in the interview and he was fired before the interview. He lost everything, and he still agreed to go talk with the girls. I believe he was truely sorry for what he said. Its not like Imus personality doesnt make fun of people. He cracks lots of jokes about people ranging from being haha to being policitally incorrect. Like I said if he didnt even have to visit with the girls and he is truely sorry IMO.
Now Rev. Sharpend and Jackson, how can anyone take them seriously. They are just a bunch of hypocrite. If they truely wanted to get rid of peoples comments on calling women of color degrading names, why dont they start with rap? But no, they talk big about we have to stop calling women of color degrading names, when their people, not saying all of them, rap songs about raping, killing, and taking advantage of women. If Jackson says its very degrading to say the N word then why does HE say it in an interview?!?!? Their all full of bull.
I truely believe Imus should have gotten a second chance. Sharpend and Jackson sure did but no the white man/everyone non color, doesnt. Who was hurt here? Umm... He apologized to the team and he didnt have to. Sure he called them nappy bah bah bah. But he was truely sorrry. I believe the kids with cancer was hurt here.

Yes. Clowns like Imus should be monitored for content. Everyone has his or her right to his or her own opinions, but if they're offensive to one's employers and/or sponsors, one is going to get kicked out on one's butt. The station, network, and sponsors did the right thing in getting rid of this nutcase.

Yes, he is also to blame, big time. But since he's not as famous, he won't get the same treatment. It's totally unfair, but that's how it works.
I think a lot of the blame also goes to rap stars, who have made calling women (especially black women) "hos" acceptable.

That's right, since the editors let those words go out over the air then I guess CBS is the one to blame for everything. I see an editor that's about to lose his job as well!

His producer from a photo looks black, I'm not sure, his name is Bernard McGurik, so I'll leave the rest to imagination.
