See how ridiculous this question is? This is the position Sharpton and Jackson puts themselves in.

Why would Imus agree to meet with those goons when he should have just met the Rutgers' women and them alone?

venom, you are so naive it isn't even funny.

Don't you know that the likes of Sharpton and Jackson are the reason that racists prevail today?

Heck, Al and Jesse are racists themselves!

Do me a favor, research and stop following what your favorite celebrity or 'leader' tells you.

@i_know_thangs,

With a name like that, I can see why you are ignorant.

I am as black as they come and proud of it, HOWEVER, I will call out black people's faults as quickly as I would a white person.

The only sell-outs are the likes of you who follow blindly behind any doctrine.

BTW, thanks for keeping track of me
!

Imus was on a quest to salvage his radio program and broadcasting career. This journey ultimately failed as CBS canned him because sponsors were jumping ship in droves.

He did meet with the Rutgers team but any meeting with Sharpton and Jackson would have been an act of goodwill on his behalf and not absolutely necessary.

I just don't know. I think just meeting with Rutgers and the public apology should have been enough. What he said was wrong but so many others have said so much worse and nothing happens. I think Sharpton & Jackson are a couple of idiots. Imus should have recieved some sort of disicipline but was this a career ending comment. No.

I saw the history of your questions you so called "sista". And this question. No I dont always agree with Sharpton and I do believe that Imus shouldve been given a second chance for just the radio show give all the apologies and meetings.
But given the history of your questions and answers on here.
You are either:
A. Someone that is not Black posing as a one to make
self-degrading comments like the ones you make

OR

B. You are a sell-out with identity issues and you need to move out of the O.C. or Boise, ID or whereever else you are diversity deprived "sista".

No, of course he does no longer, that's u . s . a . of america submit to in suggestions, the land of the unfastened and the domicile of the embittered black human beings. Its like "ok i'm getting the full slavery element develop into an argument, yet truly we could all take a deep breathe and circulate on." by the way if somebody gets mad approximately what I in simple terms stated, then they seem to be a appropriate occasion of my theory.

I'm glad to see black people disagreeing with Sharpton and Jackson. But you all need to go to them and the media and vent your anger, frustration and disaproval. Then things will change.

He definately should have apologised to both of those hypocrites for you. You obviously have too much integrity and wisdom to associate with them. If in the unlikely event that your delicate feet were covered in hair, he never should have referred to them as "nappy headed toes", that's just way over the top, and asking for trouble. LOL

stop whining! As people like you just get on my freaking nerves.

That man actually keeps the majority of racist America on their toes... and that is a good thing.

He is a necessary evil and he makes sure that the atrocities of the 60's and early 70s do no repeat themselves.

Now, get your priorities straight
