Is it just me or is this thing (like the Iraqi war) getting a little drawn out.

I too am in baghdad Feeling like a fish in a barrel while a sick man with a shotgun stands over me grinning, and to that extent i did not mean to portray what we are doing over here as senceless meadia chatter. I just think thats what there turning it into.
I'm tired of my family getting scared to death everytime a report comes on.

Well, at least the Iraqi war is still in progress. This women has been dead for like two months, let her rest please!! Even the Don Imus thing is getting out of control. The Iraqi war is something that affects everyone in the world, Soldiers are dyeing everyday fighting for your freedom and I can't believe you would chalk it up to senseless media chatter. I'm on my sencond deployment to Iraq, and stuff is no joke and I have lost countless friends who have made a REAL contribution to the world and nobody even hears about them. But we hear about a women whose claim to fame was being a whore!

If they did the right thing first , THE D&A test, this probly would have not dragged out , but if they did , The T.V . and papers would not have got the high viewer ratings and sold loads of papers , and not as many people would profit on the tragity of this little baby ! I can't see any possible comparison to the war and Anna Nicole's death. I was tired of hearing about her after the second day. But think about it this way. She would be loving all the attention!!

Well, I must confess I have been hooked on this three ring circus. It's indemic of a larger problem in our society.
Having said that, you have to concede that this is the weirdest, most tragic situation to come along in a while. I mean you couldn't write a whackier story.

It IS too drawn out. She's dead...funeral's over. Her daughter's father has been established, as soon as he gets custody of her, everything should be put to rest.

It's what I call typical "dessert news"...something that is fun to watch after day in and day out of war, terrorism, murder, rape, theft, poverty, education, etc. and other bullsh*t that gets hard to watch and think about all the time.
