Do you think that Reverend Al Shaptron and Reverend Jessie Jackson have the 'moral integrity' to condemn someone like Don Imus?

The English are feeling the pinch in relation to recent terrorist threats and have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved." Soon, though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross." Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the blitz in 1940 when tea supplies all but ran out. Terrorists have been re-categorized from "Tiresome" to a "Bloody Nuisance." The last time the British issued a "Bloody Nuisance" warning level was during the great fire of 1666.

Also , the French government announced yesterday that it has raised its terror alert level from "Run" to "Hide." The only two higher levels in France are "Surrender" and "Collaborate." The rise was precipitated by a recent fire that destroyed France's white flag factory, effectively paralyzing the country's military capability.

It's not only the English and French that are on a heightened level of alert. Italy has increased the alert level from "Shout Loudly and Excitedly" to "Elaborate Military Posturing." Two more levels remain: "Ineffective Combat Operations" and "Change Sides."

The Germans also increased their alert state from "Disdainful Arrogance" to "Dress in Uniform and Sing Marching Songs." They also have two higher levels: "Invade a Neighbor" and "Lose."

Belgians, on the other hand, are all on holiday as usual, and the only threat they are worried about is NATO pulling out of Brussels.

The Spanish are all excited to see their new submarines ready to deploy. These beautifully designed subs have glass bottoms so the new Spanish navy can get a really good look at the old Spanish navy.

This whole Don Imus thing is absolutley ridiculous. Right at this moment I'm in Afghanistan watching this debacle and from here it looks like everyone forgot that in America there is this thing called freedom of speech. Sure what he said was stupid and insensitive and maybe even racist but much worse has been said before. He was fined and suspended but it wasn't enough and now he's fired. WHAT THE F**K?! He'd been punished and apologized but is anyone really looking at what's really going on? Today Imus gets fired for calling someone a name in what was obviously just a heat of the moment jest , tomorrow you or I say something someone doesn't like and then what? Jail, fines or maybe worse? I don't like Rutgers because their football team ruined what would have been a perfect season for my hometown team. Then to top it all off did they do crap else last season? I don't think so. So now what? Are they gonna come after me over here and suspend me or am I fired too? What do y'all think?

I'm sorry for being a white man that grew up in California during the 60s and had to go to the beach, mountains and theme parks in really cool cars with beautiful girls. I'm sorry I have the American dream and the ability to protect it. I'm really sorry.

This was a trajedy in the lives of these girls. They did nothing and were attacked. I'm black, if these were white girls, I would have felt terrible. I'm a father of a daughter, I would have been beside myself. I know there are many who are racist and care less in here about minorities, less alone blacks. Okay. What about the human part of you? What do you think about the paint to these girls, that Imus has caused? Or, are they just monkeys as some in here have called me. God Bless

Yesterday Oprah interviewed Rutgers womens team that was the butt of the Don Imus joke. But then Oprah later in the show was teaching hip hop dancing and was telling her audience she didnt want to look like "that white guy" at the party that can't dance.

I was totally offended by this "Racist" statement she made!!

...suppose if i (or any white guy) would tell a crowd of black people that i didn't want to look like "that black guy" at an Ozzy concert that can't mosh.

I hope the almighty and powerful Rev. Al Sharpton is happy. He got what he wanted - Imus is unemployed. That should bring ALL bigotry and ignorance to a grinding hault, PHEW! Couldn't have done it without ya AL!

I hope he feels good that Imus was fired in the middle of a charity drive that annually raises around $40 million for children with disabilities and special needs. A charity that has done so for over a decade.

Now, is Al going to take on the entire hip-hop community next? Black comedians who are bigots and sexists? No...probably not.

Maybe the GOOD REVEREND should remember; let he who live without sin cast the first stone.

And what Imus said was ignorant, but far from a "sin". When was the last time Al Sharpton raised $40 million for a children's charity?

The Freedom of Speech...better watch what you say...

Out of all the injustices encountered in this life, Imus has apparently commited the very one that can't be forgiven.

Racism isn't mere words. Racism is an issue of heart.

How hypocritcal and self-righteous is this whole circus!!!!
Imus truly comes out looking like Jesus compared to the self-righteous condemnation of his peers.

"He who has commited no sin throw the first stone."

I bet if Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson team up and start some protests in Darfur, maybe the genocide there can be stopped?

After all, it seems pretty racist whats going on over there, don't you think?

(Hint, this question is meant to provoke some thoughtful dialogue, maybe we can all start to talk about something that us TRULY important...)

Now that Imus career is over...
what is next for him? I think most likely he will join the Satellite radio guys. He already has loyal fans and listeners and if he gets only 1/4 the radio deal that Howard Stern got, then we will do just fine. Oh and he won't have to worry about what he says or sponsors pulling their plugs since its subscription based.

...so do u think he will go this route? If so...

Siruis or XM ???

For a very long time, Iran and Pakistan have tried to create war in Afghanistan for their sick political purposes. Even now that the evil taliban are gone, those two evil countries are trying to send bombs and terrorists to destroy Afghanistan. Please share your ideas on what should be done to them to stop them from torturing the Afghan people. The Iranian and Pakistani governments are the real terrorists who are funding the attacks against America and all the countries that don't agree with them including the innocent people of Afghanistan and Iraq. Please look at the facts and you will see that most of the Taliban leaders were either Arab or Pakistani terrorists funded by Iran and those radical terror groups.

Her trial just started and Nancy Grace is ready to convict her. As a former preacher's wife, I tend to wonder if he had been abusive to her and/or if he physically or sexually abused their three daughters. Preachers' wives are expected to portray perfection to the public and they have no support at all. A marriage that looks heavenly to outsiders can be a living hell behind closed doors. If Matthew Winkler was a popular preacher in the community and had at least convinced his congregation he was a good man, it will be hard for Mary Winkler to get a fair trial.
